Yes, we all know the risks and warnings, but not all garage developers can afford second devices. Some (most?) legitimate devs just do it as a hobby that maybe brings in a trickle of cash, we've not all hit the big time yet. It doesn't mean we've not got Apps that we want to get running on iOS7 though

battery icon? Signal strength?

It would appear that the battery icon is now white/black. It was using a color scheme green to red in previous betas yes? Also is a tad larger as is the %?

Also anyone notice if the signal strength issue some were having seems resolved now? Some said always on 5 dots no matter what or 4/5 dots when used to be on 1/2.

It's the same as it's always been. Black/White (depending on background color) when not charging, Green/Red (depending on current battery level) when charging.

No change.

Yep! Just updated and now its messed up again

I deleted the twitter app and then re-installed it, works fine now

And lastly I am surprised they haven't updated all of their own app icons. They seem to have updated the preinstalled icons but for example "Find my friends" , "Find my phone" , iTunes I and iBooks are still all the old format

They can't update icons on apps downloaded from the App Store. That will have to wait until 7 is released.

I don't get why they took that out. Hopefully in a future revision it'll be there. I seriously would like to just play songs by Genre... instead of making playlists for each Genre... it kinda defeats the purpose to me.

Then it's pretty silly for them to risk bricking their first device for any reason.

The safe thing to do is for them to start testing and fixing their apps with the beta Xcode/Simulator instead.

Or really for them to decide what they want to do with their own devices when they already know all the relevant information as far as betas, risks, etc.

It is possible that the 4S doesn't have a unique identifier specifying what color of 4S it is. That or they simply didn't enable it for the 4S.

They do.
Apple sometimes rolls out features to newer devices first. These are beta versions, they apple can literally remove the phone app, and people won't be able to complain, because these betas are made for development, and testing of applications.
