Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 5 to Developers

Music downloads

Anyone able to download music "not on this phone" with Beta 5? Starts then errors out and has the done/retry box. Have not tried a new purchase but existing music in cloud (not iTunes match) wont download.

Also I was seeing the cloud download icon beside songs that were not downloaded in the Music app. Now that is gone as well. Only songs appearing are ones actually on device. Like the switch in music app settings for show all music is not functioning.
 
You Tube App doesn't work and I'm seeing by battery drain pretty quickly compared to Beta 4.

Oh and the game centre log in now is only a little box, I doesn't take up the entire width of the screen any more.

Known issues with B5 and apps not downloading or updating. Fix is reboot once or twice (so they say). YouTube works on 4s btw.

I actually have an iPhone5. But I managed to get it working by rebooting a few time as per your advice.

Beta 5 is great but what's up with the start up time?

iOS 7 beta 5 has brought many great improvements, but what's up with the extremely long start up time. Using an iPhone 4S, the boot up time is a little over 2.5 mins. About the same on iPad mini. :confused:
 
Can someone tell me the hexcidecimal color of the last number in the seconds place of the time when it displays while charging?
I'm dying to know!

I'm running beta 2 still; you apparently can't do OTA to Beta 5 from anything other than Beta 4, which I couldn't get last week because I'm not running Beta 3. Had I known that you couldn't do such a straight OTA, I wouldn't have restored from Beta 3 to Beta 2, because now I'm stuck at Beta 2 and it blows.

And no matter how much they say that software downloads are online, I have been completely unable to download any of these links for the last week and a half now.

You better do something about it soon since beta 2 is supposed to expire in a day or so.
 
Don't like the colors

Loved the minimalistic icon look in beta 4. I have no idea why they added color. Aperture has lost its color icons and I think that was also an improvement

I heard its on NSA's side. Due to the high rate of users installing iOS 7 betas, NSA was not ready for all the traffic on their servers so soon. "Apple told us mid September!"

Ugly Home Screen

Hate the look of my Home Screen, the translucent dock is huge, covering about 20% of my Home Screen Wallpaper. The page indicator (dots) is squeezed between the last row of icons and the translucent dock.

Hope Apple gives us the flexibility to adjust the height of the dock (at least).

...I don't have iOS 7 - just been a long time lurker on this thread to see what iOS 7 has in store for us.

I have to totally agree with you, however, on the translucent dock area.

When I look at the dock on iOS 7 and then compare it to my dock on my iPhone 5 which is still running iOS6, the iOS 6 dock looks 100% better and cleaner than the translucent effort showing on iOS7...!!!
