I'm even more confused... Updated my iPad mini 2 with the GM from IMZDL and the version is 13A341... When I do a google search on 13A341 it brings up a bunch of foreign sites but 13A340 brings up english links for the GM. o_O

I got the GM installed but for some reason now it's telling me to "update" to iOS9 Public Beta 3... anyone else have this?

My iPad mini 2 did the same thing. I removed the profile for the public beta and let it finish downloading because by the time I realized that's what was going on it was already auto downloading. Once I finished downloading Public Beta 3 I just went into my storage options and deleted the download.

I had downloaded iOS 9 gm and when I went to install it, it said a new iTunes version was required. I had to restore back to iOS 8.4 because my mac is running osx 10.6.8 and I have vst plug ins that aren't compatible with el Capitan. It won't allow me to update iTunes on my Mac. I hope that next week when it's released to the public that it doesn't require a newer iTunes for those like me that are running an older osx software.

Any luck with OTA?
I can't remember a GM that was delivered OTA from a DP or Beta. Apple usually make you download the full dmg and go from there. (Also remember it's possible to have multiple GM release before the final public release if the debs happen to come across major bug fixes)
At least I've always done this and fresh installed to make sure I'm starting as fresh as possible and not carry over any hidden or known bugs from previous builds.

Just did a download, create bootable USB, format, fresh install while watching a 30 min TV show on my 12" MB.

Checking and testing for GM candidate bugs.

I probably will do the MacMini and iMac tomorrow.

For most of the iOS 9 beta program they've offered the beta testers the update the day after the developers. I know we're all impatient.. But a day isn't that long. (Or even two)

Downloaded it from there and it says not compatible!

Try to check the model number of your iPhone. It can be found at the back of it, like mine says A1522. Then download the iOS 9 GM firmware that indicates your model number.

Edit:
Never mind this reply, there is only one firmware for iPhone 6 Plus regardless of model number.

Was running PB, and I just downloaded iOS 9 GM for my 6 Plus via imzdl's torrent. Works a treat for me. Just Alt+Restore iPhone through iTunes and I've restored my iPhone to iOS 9 GM and put back my backup. Runs fine now.

So to those that are on PBs, you can just torrent the GM ipsw and install it.

GMs have always been full ipsw downloads and never OTA. Since this is the first time Apple has made iOS betas available to public, it's still unclear how Apple will handle the public testers. But my belief is that public testers will get their updates OTA on 16 Sept. But if you want to skip the wait just torrent he ipsw.

Well after a bit of a scare with it being stuck on the updating screen, I did a hard reset and everything is running fine. Any idea where the news app is? I thought it would be built in?

I'm on the Public Beta but I'll wait six days for the official launch (if we don't get the GM OTA).

Anyone that upgraded to the GM, that is getting the message about an upgrade is available to IOS 9 PB 3, you need to delete your Beta Profile from the Beta Program: Settings, General, Profiles. Then reboot.

Also works doing an alt+update.

Is it just me or does the Siri volume really soft? I have it turned up all the way and it's still nowhere near as loud as it was before.
