Does anyone know if the current "match" feature in iTunes has any hints of a "see-before-you-buy" option -- that is, can you tell how much of your music library iTunes was able to match, before buying the match feature? It would really suck if you had to buy the "match" feature before seeing how much of your library would be matched. Thanks.

so if i have a song that i got from a CD or an entire CD made up of mixed songs, would itunes be able to match it to the cloud version? or is it only for like songs that exactly match on the itunes store?

Downloading now. I haven't really noticed any bugs in the past 10.5 betas so I don't expect anything major... but that's probably because the new iTunes Match features really don't interest me that much and that's where most of the changes have been focused.

For a while, I saw the fact that scrolling in iTunes 10.5 beta wouldn't bounce when it reached the top was a sign that this was just a skin for the unveiling of iTunes 11. However, in the last beta, the scrollbars now bounce correctly instead of just stopping :O

Apple TV Issues?

Just curious if anybody has had problems with their Apple TV after installing this latest beta.

I can see my library on my Apple TV but when I go to play something, it says I have to go into iTunes and authorize my Mac. I go and do that and it says my Mac is already authorized.

I'm not running a beta of Apple TV OS and this was working fine before so it seems strange.

I can play a movie on my Mac and use AirPlay to stream it to my Apple TV which makes it even more strange.

Just wondering if it's the iTunes beta (which is fine...it's beta software) or if I have a problem somewhere else. Thanks!

I hope it's just a skin/cover.
iTunes11 would be great next week.
Not 10.5

That would be a great idea. I don't want this service if it's going to leave thousands of files unmatched due to buggy software. And at this point it looks like there's no way to find out until after you've paid.
