Hmmm.. it seems that the update has been reverted to the old seed on the dev site? - I had the new one and it's only recently been put back to late Feb's seed.

The latest beta doesn't have TRIM support for the SSD types I checked. Mind you, even if it says "yes" that only means that the SSD supports the trim command, not that OS X actually supports trim as well (which it needs, that's how TRIM works). There hasn't been an official statement from Apple regarding TRIM.

I hope 10.6.7 will fix the slow shut down times. My mbp hangs for about 10 seconds before it starts to shut down.

Did you check with the original Apple SSDs like in the MBAs?

Doesn't this build support the new macbook pro? It says my system doesn't meet the requirements :(

Hey, maybe it will finally finish the resolution independence feature started back in Tiger!!! ;) :D

Oh wait. That would be a real OS feature. We'll probably see another app store enhancement.

Ya, that's not true at all. SF based SSDs, like OWC SSDs, support TRIM. I'm using one right now and when I go check, it says "no."

And even if you were right, then there would have been no reason for AppleInsider to make a post saying that the new MBPs support TRIM. Because then it wouldn't be the OS but the SSD, then it wouldn't have been a big deal at all.

This is the second post you've made in this thread where either you haven't read the comment which you are replying to, or have utterly failed to comprehend it....

Hahahahahaha it's funny how every forum there is always someone who says something without giving any backup for their statement. So please, enlighten me :D

And incase you didn't notice, which you obviously didn't, I was only responding to a specific part of what someone else said. I was just correcting them to help them out, no need to get all moody lol :)
