4.99 GB on my 2012 MBP. I was a bit shocked they released 13.1.2 and Catalina Beta 10 on the same day. But I'm not complaining, more betas!

Really worried about the loss of iTunes. (Yes, I know it’s bloatware, but it works)

AppleTV app is a buggy mess and littered with ads. It’s making me hesitant to upgrade to Catlalina–that and the mess that iOS 13.
I suspect we will see a October event with new Mac Pro, 16inch MBP, refreshed 13 & 15 plus updated ATV and Catalina in a few weeks time.

Hope there is new iPad Pros in there too, but if not, my wallet will be relieved.

Did the window border highlight change to be a brighter grey in dark mode this beta or did I miss that happening before?

I dont know you guys, but my Beta 10 broke WhatsApp app, or WhatsApp is not prepare for Catalina yet.
If this is super important for you, skip this version

It's working for me. It's worked throughout the betas. Did you download the "official" version from the App Store? Version 0.3.4679.

If so, find it in /Applications and right-click then "open".

Still if you rename folder that has “.” in it, it asks you if you want to change the file extension... can’t believe it’s not fixed yet, really annoying.

Why would that shock you?
From what I've seen, Apple doesn't usually release two different OS's on the same day. Usually it's iOS one day then macOS the following day.

Can't you right click the file and select open? I think that skips any checks like that.

try
Oh, interesting, thanks for letting me know, I should've known it was an Apple website.
Anyways I'm enrolled on the beta program so I'm on the Public Beta 9, which should be similar (if not the same build) to the Dev Beta 10.

Thank you very much

I should however point out that there is actually a higher version of xprotect version 2104 available when you install the latest security updates for sierra or high sierra and in the case of mojave, the latest combo or supplemental update.

There is none whatsoever for catalina.

It is in fact being phased out in favour of gatekeeper which will play a bigger role in future versions of macos, thereby rendering xprotect obsolete.

means nothing. Apple has released plenty of software without labeling a GM.

You keep on believing that...iOS 13.1 is the rogue one out of all of this. iOS 13.0 wasn't ready for primetime and it seems that iOS 13.1 was either as we've had 2 point releases within a week.
