I would like to see two things in the iOS 11:
- a real dark mode, and not that stupid “smart invert Color” that is not anything,
- the possibility to put transparent Dock, because i realy don’t see the point of the Dock having that “bar”

But, it’s just my opinion

Sorry for my “bad english” :)

Apple today seeded the ninth beta of iOS 11 to developers for testing purposes, just a few days after releasing the eighth beta and more than two months after introducing the new update at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

Registered developers can download the new iOS 11 beta from the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed.

iOS 11 brings several new design changes like a customizable Control Center and a new Lock screen that's been merged with the Notification Center. Peer-to-peer Apple Pay payments are coming in the Messages app, which is also gaining a new App Drawer, and there's a Do Not Disturb While Driving feature that's meant to help drivers stay focused on the road. Siri, Photos, the Camera app, and more are also gaining new features and refinements.

ARKit for developers will bring a range of new augmented reality apps and games to iOS devices, and a new Core ML SDK will let developers build smarter apps. iOS 11 is also the biggest update ever for the iPad, with a new Dock that introduces much improved multitasking, a Files app for better managing files, improved Apple Pencil support, a revamped App Switcher, and a system-wide drag and drop feature.

iOS 11 is available for both registered developers and public beta testers and be released to the public in September alongside new iPhones. We are getting closer to the end of the beta testing process and should see a golden master release candidate soon.

For complete details on all of the new features included in iOS 11, make sure to check out our extensive iOS 11 roundup.

Update: Apple has also made a new public beta of iOS 11 available for public beta testers.

[doublepost=1504253231][/doublepost]An odd thing happened following installing this.
I was showing a friend iOS11 public beta and when I pressed voiceover it went all a little mad on my iPhone.
The voice was really slow and it wouldn’t accept my fingerprint or code after a reboot.
I eventually managed to slide up control panel and following several attempts turned off voiceover then all was well.
Could have just been me but a pain none the less.

Your English is spot on friend. No need to apologize.

I haven't paid attention to iOS 11 because there haven't seemed to be the huge improvements coming lately (in macOS either). As a result I hadn't realized how much change was coming for iPads. This is a huge improvement. Drag and drop will be awesome. The new Dock will be useful. The window managemwill be much better. I only wish I had an iPad newer than an Air. I assume we still don't get split screen and hope we at least maintain the new slide over. The old slide over wasn't so good.

Does anyone think they will increase the iCloud storage tiers? I've just pushed over 50GB and don't want to go up a tier as it triples in price!

Maybe those features are already in the GM what will be released after the event. OLED without dark theme as standard makes no sense and there are already rumours that new dock.

If those features make it to older devices is another question. But I hope Apple will do it to keep everything in line.

I realy hope so... :)

Battery life is still weird. Drains faster and the percentage jumps around. It’ll be 96% and then drop to 92%. Weird.

Depending on your use case on the iPad I'd say go ahead and jump on the beta, following the obvious recommendations of backups so you can roll back if necessary. Loving it on my Air 2 and can't wait until the final release for my wife's original Air (though I'm considering upgrading hers to a new Pro 10.5)

Me too. coconutBattery says my iPhone 6 is only good for less than 500 mAh (instead of 1810), which I don't believe since my battery life was fine under iOS 10. I was hoping this beta would fix that, since my iPhone is nearly useless with these betas and we're getting really close to GM.

Does anybody else not have Messages as an option on the share menu after a screenshot on the iPhone? I haven't seen it show up in any of the betas so far, while it showed up at some point on my iPad

I agree about the dark mode. I tried the inverting and it didn't work on Tweetbot...the pics looked like photo negatives, regardless if I had Tweetbot in darkmode or not.

I have it. Does a restart fix?

anyone know if this beta release is going to fix connecting to the App Store? Haven't been able to connect to the App Store on this last beta... been reading various forums and it seems to be a known issue with no remedy yet....

I have been connecting to the app store without issues, just cant leave reviews but thats normal in a beta.

I went ahead and installed the beta. It’s pretty nice. But the original Air not having true side by side doesn’t seem to be able to take advantage of the new drag and drop. That is disappointing. The new keyboard is nice in making it easy to type numbers and characters. I’m not sure I like the look though. It makes it seem busy and distracting.

I would love a newer iPad but the Air still works fine for how I use it. I had an original iPad and it was not fun to use after a while. I’ve at gotten much more usage out of this one.
