It's coming very soon. The duration between betas is so short. And fall with the iTunes even is right around the corner!

Indeed. It seems as if it's nearing completion, going by the time between builds. The question is whether Apple is holding the build until the iPhone 5 reveal and the release of iOS 5, however.

Here's to hoping they add a "disable animation" feature to iCal and Mail. Apple is usually better about allowing sounds/animations/etc. to be disabled.

Apple has removed the compatibility subsystem for older applications from Lion.

They want you to buy new systems and new software.

They have an unexpected new expense - a CEO with a salary!

Nope, actually all of them are wrong...go figure. ;)

QuickTransit (AKA "Rosetta") and support removed from Lion. Fact.

Apple doesn't want you to buy new systems and software?

Cook gets a salary. Fact.

The new OS X Lion 10.7.2 build continues to list no known issues and asks developers to focus their testing on AirPort, AppKit, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, Mac App Store, Mail, Spotlight, and Time Machine.

So does this mean that Apple still is not acknowledging the issues with 2010 MacBook Pros? That's the only reason I haven't upgraded yet.

Should I download the Combo or Delta update?

Also, the Reversioner download link is missing this time. Anyone else?

I'm hoping it comes out soon as Lion has been running slowly and with lots of bugs on my Macbook Pro (it's fine on the iMac though.) Mail won't even open anymore since the update to 10.7.1.

I've just logged in and they seem to have re-labelled the downloads to mention that the reversioner's included in the downloaded DMG.

I think this must be very close to release since (IIRC), this is the first time the update's been released in the 'standard' format of both a Combo and a Delta update.

Currently downloading the Combo update (with included reversioner). Will see how it goes!

Will it fix SMB?

Hah

Why are you guys wondering if Mail will work on older machines.

Yes. It will.

You'll just have to add the email server information manually. Is it that hard for you supposedly tech-saavy people to figure that out???

What issues?

Wake from sleep and black screen of death issues that are partially remedied by forcing either the integrated or discrete graphics. Most have to force their integrated chips, I and a few others found we had to force the discrete. The issues are fairly reproducible. The second tab of Photo Booth effects being one. Scrolling through a ******** of PDFs is another.

Still testing Airport I see. The last 10.7.1 update didn't fix my Lion induced Wi-Fi woes. Hoping this will.

Hope to get WiFi problems fixed as well that have induced into my iMac with Lion. Just learned there are more people with this problem, lot's of report scattered around various forums. But all we are stuck with Apple support, not making progress into a solution or filing of a change request.

You'll still be able to use MobileMe until June2012. After that, I guess it would mean a new Mac capable of running Lion to begin using the iCloud features.
I see... Thanks. Now I understand why Apple is keeping MobileMe around during the transfer. I hope that I'll still be able to transfer my same address and won't lose out in any way by being late to the party! :(

With developer previews, "no known issues" generally means that between the last build and the latest build, there's no issues. That doesn't mean any previous bugs that you find in 10.7.1 are/aren't fixed. It means that any issues that may have been created or found in 10.7.2 build 11C40 (not saying that there were any) have been fixed in 11C43, and that in their rudimentary testing, there's no issues they themselves have caught (or couldn't be bothered fixing) at the time they put the build up.

The actual list of fixed items will appear in the release notes.
