What kind of issues?

I've had syncing issues with iTunes 11.1.2 and .3 with iOS 7.1 beta's where iTunes would freeze in the middle of syncing or take a very long time to finish syncing.

I haven't had an issue yet with 11.1.4 iTunes update and iOS 7.1 beta 4, but it was just released today so I'll give it some time before I call it fixed.

This sort of issue.. I've had problems where apps purchased via iTunes store won't load to an iOS device via sync with OS X 10.9.2 beta

Quick Look?

Hope they fixed Quick Look. Opening RAW images is a pain in the a**.
Too slow. I don't know what they've done in Mavericks that it's so slow.

Does anyone know anything about that?

I notice no perceptible lag on my early 2013 rMBP. That said, it's not always true that any bug or issue is universal so whether there's a fix for you remains to be seen.

Safari scrolling is better

With 10.9.2, my biggest complaint about the scrolling issues of Safari seems to have been resolved.

This problem was well documented and a thread describing the problem can be reached here:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1650841/

Apple did not even acknowledge that there was a problem, but the fact that it is corrected now is a proof that they were aware of it.

It looks like they are reading those bug reports after all.:)

Does it fix the random beach ball glitch?

Does it fix the delay in the open/save file dialog box with the spinning indicator on the bottom left of the window?

everything working good here. only problem is that all these beta updates are a bit annoying as they are too frequent.

About the Safari issues, I found a solution. It's called Firefox. Maybe some of you heard about this app called Firefox? it's not very popular apparently, but boy... If you try it just once, you will think how ******** one has to be to use Safari...

Anyone having issues with Finder crashing? It flickers and disappears

Looks like dropbox was the culprit. It seems to be working normally now ;)

I've got a 2012 rMBP. Maybe I should try a clean install of Mavericks.
But somehow good to hear that it's just me, I guess

No I have to disagree here. If you want to beta test, you have to expect a lot more updates than the public releases.

And the more the better because if there are bugs in betas you want them sorted as quickly as possible.

Get a SSD, I did a while ago, no more beach balls.

Firefox, ha, who wants that crap, Safari is way faster than FF, and to me also better.

Seems to me this beta is just a bit slower than the previous ones, except for that I didn't notice much difference.

It's definitely not just you :) and I've noticed a bit of lag in earlier versions of Mavericks. I should clarify that with this current seed, on my machine, it's behaving much, much better.

I'd like to see NFS issues resolved.
And that issue causing my DisplayLink screen to flicker.
Developers in both areas have blamed changes in Mavericks for their problems.

NFS has been an ongoing issue - it is strange that NFS plays such a role in distributed encoding with Compressor 4.1 yet you'd think they would spend some time making it perform at peak performance.

Unless you rely on SMB2 in which case go back to 10.8.5.
SMB2 in Mavericks 10.9.1 is totally screwed.
Connections to a Windows 2012R2 server are virtually unusable. Timeouts mid way through file copies, slow folder browsing, and more importantly cannot hold a connection to the server for more than 5 hours. Once it drops the connection to the share the Mac needs to be rebooted for SMB to work again.

The irony is that it took until 10.8.5 for SMB to work properly on ML and now Mavericks has started with a new SMB stack from scratch.

The only thing I could suggest is maybe installing Services For UNIX and use the NFS server for your Mac clients which has less issues but I think it'll be a hard road before it finally settles down.

Last but not least does it fix the fact that it seems to run my iMac 10 degrees hotter under load than ever before pushing 190 degrees fahrenheit despite cleaning the unit out with air duster canister?

For everyone else 190 degrees fahrenheit is 87.7 Degrees Celsius - if you're maxing out your iMac then the fans should be going like crazy to get the heat down. What is the temperature of the room you've got your iMac in because if the room is something like 30 Degrees Celsius then life is going to be made a whole lot more difficult for the computer trying to cool itself down.

Wonderful Post ! I truly love how it’s easy on my eyes as well as the info are well written. I am wondering how I may be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which need to do the trick! Have a nice day! :):):)

Unfortunately, they are working hard right now to dumb down Firefox to make it more like Safari and other featureless browsers. (See the latest Nightly). Grab the current ESR release and hang on.

Install a SSD. Do a clean Mavericks install on the SSD. Never look back.

Will a clean install and Time Machine restore do the trick?

I'm already on an SSD but 10.9.1 is crashing or lagging at least once every day, while it was butter smooth on 10.8.5.

Don't know. Have 0 experience with the effect on system performance with Time Machine restores.
But a clean install with manual re-installation of the stuff you need will. It takes time, but is, imho, well worth the effort.

Still having issues with my displaylink adapter in this release. Actually it seems to have turned them off. Still showing up in system_profiler though:
