It is 120hz. Either you have promotion off or you need your eyes checked. Xcode quartz debug framerate doesnt lie. You can clearly see the difference when scrolling. You can also turn on low power mode so the framerate goes down to 60 and if u dont notice a diff then ur out of luck and ull never be satisfied
Haven't upgraded yet still on beta 1 (don't have time). How is it on chrome? Is it perfectly scrolling in 120fps for chrome? Even the inertia scrolling?

I'm still on beta 1 and inertia scrolling in chrome still kinda stutters . Not a big deal but would love to see buttery smooth 120fps scroll

Thanks!!

Chrome is pretty buttery smooth 120. There are maybe a few sites where you might see a little jitter here and there but is is 99% there to being perfect on inertia.

Wow nice to hear that! Thanks! . YouTube HDR is supposed to be fixed but I don't think we could test it since it's still disabled by YouTube i think.

How about WindowServer memory usage? On beta 1 I usually have 1gig to 1.5gig of ram used and the only time I've had it "leak" it was using 2gigs of memory. And that was only 1 time

Mine is currently using around 400mb

Hmmm curious if the UC menu option is hidden, and still shows beta tag like in the last beta….

yes, it's still hidden (requires a search in display preferences) and shows beta tag.

Thanks for confirming.

I don’t think anyones got it working tho, I’m curious if it’s all in there, or just the hidden menu item. I think it has to be in there, for them to have the menu option there.

How long since reboot?? Since it usually goes from 500MB to about 1 gig to 1.5gig on average and stays there. Right now it's 800MB here.
What is the normal range of memory taken by windowserver before we call it a leak? Mine hangs around 800MB.

That's the thing. I think on big sur on the Intel days mine was always below 1gig. And now it kinda hovers between 800-1.5gb . I think mine leaked one time because it was using 2 gigs without anything really running that is different. And reboot fixes that of course

IIRC, WindowServer has always been 1-2GB for me on my MacBook, but I have it hooked up to a 4K external monitor. For those taking under 1GB, is that only with one display?

Not sure if I am being numpty but since 12.1 the shutdown option has disappeared, lucking I can do it via cmd-line but what have I done ideas on a £10 note please
