The update is not shown to me in Germany. I thought the bug was fixed by now?! Does anyone know what to do to push the update?

Why are we talking about 12.0.1? This is a thread about 12.1.

Comparing the current version to the soon to be latest version [once no longer beta/RC]

I don't have macOS device and I have only installed 10.14 and 10.15 on my Dell laptop...

Sorry I’m not on the RC yet on beta 4. Was trying to make sure you weren’t one of those “it was 120 in 12.0.1” ppl.

To be clear, are we saying RC 12.1 has 120hz (or close to it) in Safari?

EDIT:

Nope: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/still-no-120hz-safari-scolling-with-the-macos-12-1-rc.2326592/

No its 120 hz, you can even use quartz debug from xcode and it shows it at around 100-110 while scrolling. It has a few stutter issues but its 120hz. Chrome works perfect as well and is smoother. You can test it by turning on low power mode on and off and see the difference.

Just downloaded 12.1 RC. I don't have any way to test if its 120hz, but Safari definitely feels smoother.

Try putting ur laptop in low power mode ; that changes it to 60hz and notice how much of a diff it is

Does anyone know if the PB RC is out yet?

edit - It just dropped in the UK

It’s the same tho not smooth or 120hz
It is 120hz. Either you have promotion off or you need your eyes checked. Xcode quartz debug framerate doesnt lie. You can clearly see the difference when scrolling. You can also turn on low power mode so the framerate goes down to 60 and if u dont notice a diff then ur out of luck and ull never be satisfied
