I think is just an instance that the number of days a release happens got too reduced between the RC and the public release to occur again today compared to 2021, 2022 looking at MacOS 1X.1 releases as a example. The RC was Wednesday 7th and today is 12th, so that was only 3 business days to get feedback then the weekend. Tomorrow would make it match 4 business days from the RC.I can't remember the last time we had an update on Tuesday. Updates have typically been on Monday (sometimes Wednesday) in recent history...
iOS 16.1 | iPadOS 16.1 | macOS 13.0 - 24 Oct 2022 (Monday)
iOS 16.0 - 12 Sept 2022 (Monday)
iOS 15.7 | iPadOS 15.7 | macOS 12.6 - 12 Sept 2022 (Monday)
iOS 15.6 | iPadOS 15.6 | macOS 12.5 - 20 July 2022 (Wednesday)
iOS 15.5 | iPadOS 15.5 | macOS 12.4 - 16 May 2022 (Monday)
iOS 15.4 | iPadOS 15.4 | macOS 12.3 - 14 Mar 2022 (Monday)
iOS 15.3 | iPadOS 15.3 | macOS 12.2 - 26 Jan 2022 (Wednesday)
iOS 15.2 | iPadOS 15.2 | macOS 12.1 - 13 Dec 2021 (Monday)
iOS 15.1 | iPadOS 15.1 | macOS 12.0 - 25 Oct 2021 (Monday)
iOS 15.0 | iPadOS 15.0 - 20 Sept 2021 (Monday)
Even if you include the z updates (x.y.z), they have been typically been on Wednesday or Thursday, and sometimes Monday. I have not seen any updates on Tuesday for quite awhile, but correct me if I'm wrong.
