Corrected...

Sorry, reality of the matter... There's a difference between not seeing an issue and an issue not being there. There is NOT anything wrong with not seeing it but I don't think the same hardware running the same software is going to produce very differing results. Of course, there could be corrupted backups, different settings, etc, but the issue is seemingly wide spread enough that I highly doubt that the issue exists only on some devices.

Please somebody just show a video of the phone doing this (60FPS) because I am genuinely curious about the issue I don't have a 6S Plus of my own to test the issue on.

Seriously, dude, when someone posted in another thread video about this i was really surprised. It is hard to not see this, sorry, but i have no such issue never ever seen this on my iPhone. Just because you have doesn't mean everyone has it.

Feel free to watch: https://infinit.io/_/yeibMbd

I've seen a video of the very apparent difference even in portrait mode on iPhone 6S/6S plus. Was portrait fixed in 9.2 but landscape was broken?
Doesn't need to be 60fps lol!

Recorded with Quicktime @40ish fps:

All I have to say is holy crap. And this exists with increase contrast enabled too? I saw someone said that is the case which is ridiculous.

At first try the lag didn't happen, had to try it three more times, because if I wake up the phone in landscape the lag is not(!) there. (But if I rotate the phone while recording the screen using Quicktime, Quicktime crashes/gives an error.)

Edit: wake up from landscape - no lag

You don't need to reboot. Just tap on any text field. For example pull down spotlight and the outline will be replaced by an actual keyboard.
But it happens on the lockscreen, I can't access the homescreen.

iPhone 6S user here. No issues that I can tell of. Seems like nice steady progression. All animations are nice and smooth, no frame drops. Hope this helps anyone. Will test my iPad Air 2 later.

Completely subjective... don't even think for a second because you believe it's useful for yourself that it is for everyone and that everyone on iOS 7+ likes it and finds it useful.

Nice try though.

I'd say a majority do, but that's a guess.

And you assume they don't.

See? We both assume. Yours just happens to be more popular around MR because this place lives to complain.

Yet again, you assume that I am assuming something when I never made mention of it nor mention of any majority of any sort.
I specifically said I didn't like it. that I didn't like it and I thought it was a joke. I only spoke for myself.

Show me once, just once, in my any of my post where I said anything of the majority? I specifically said I didn't like it. that I didn't like it and I thought it was a joke. I only spoke for myself.

I've seen the glitch where the no notifications messes up and isn't centered on the screen. The other issue I have is I have my phone set to two minutes for auto-lock and it just decides to lock after a minute. It's completely random, but just annoying.

I have absolutely no lag in either position. And I have 100's of apps. I think you have a problem with your iPhone and should talk to an apple genius. Perhaps a replacement is needed. Good luck.

Here's proof that was posted elsewhere in this thread, which is exactly as it shows on my phone as well (be sure to select 1080p50 option):

Spotlight stutter is also still there, at least on my Air 2. At this point I think it will never be fixed.

And that ridiculous 6s plus landscape lag. WTF Apple. This is not polished ! I thought apple is supposed to be that
I've been thinking the same thing, even 8 which was full of bugs was more polished than this.
Tim Cook doesn't give about quality control, time for him to go look what's happening to iOS... and even Mac OS X !

maybe this was present in the previous beta, but it looks like it takes about 5 seconds or so for the 'slide to unlock' words to appear

My bad.

I personally feel Music is more useful now than ever before. Is that better?

LoL, just tried it on my 6S Plus for the first time. 5fps max!

Edit: Dfq!? Tried it again, now it's gone. o_O

Edit2: Wake up in landscape -> no lag. Wake up in portrait and rotate to landscape -> lag.

Yep, confirm this on my 6s Plus.

What's more annoying is that the frame rate for 3D Touch interactions on the 6s Plus, even in portrait, are half that of the 6s! I don't get it...
