It doesn't look like it's an actual alert/notification that lights up your phone, makes a noise, and vibrates though. Looks like you'll only see the alert/message if you happen to wake up your phone and look at it.

Say someone's phone is in their pocket or laying next to them. Their abusive partner (who knows the code) hops onto the Mac and starts iPhone Mirroring to snoop through the phone. Will the other person know? Will it ding/vibrate/light up? Obviously someone else knowing your passcode can be a problem, but they could be thinking "My phone's safe, it's right here with me."

At least that's what I've gathered after watching this video. The phone did nothing whenever he started an iPhone Mirroring session. The alert/message only displayed when he woke up the phone.

You're right. My iPhone is on the table, and was able to connect to it. I didn't hear anything. I agree there should be some kind of ding or vibration on the iPhone when a Mac connects.

In my quick testing, I noticed I couldn't start the mirroring session unless the devices were fairly close together. With my MacBook in my study, and my iPhone charging on the night stand in the room directly above, it could not connect. AirPods and other bluetooth devices have no problems anywhere in my house, for reference. So if I noticed my spouse using my MacBook (and logged into my account), I'd most likely have to be in the same room as him anyway. Unless I'm taking a nap, I'd likely notice him connected to my iPhone from there.

Not that I'd care too much if he read my diary or got into my bank accounts, or whatever other private information I have. But I understand everyone's situation is different and maybe Apple can add some additional security to it. Like disable it when a certain focus is on/off, or a certain time of the day, etc.

I haven't set up iPhone mirroring yet as I was going to wait for the first Public beta for iOS (but now hedging) however I noticed the window snap (I previously used Rectangle) is much much more responsive than before.
I'm not sure if it was just broken before, but I couldn't get corners to work at all in beta 1. Still seems a little touchy to me. Corners work now, but not always? Like this window I'm using I can drag to 3 corners to auto-resize it to 1/4, but the top right corner, I can't get it to resize to 1/4 at all, it only does 1/2.

Anyone else been having issues with Music cloud library syncing?

Ever since beta 2 my cloud music library won't sync

I signed out and back into my account like in the past to fix and now it won't show anything added from Apple Music or purchased... only locally added/imported files
