Beta 1 was working great for me, the only issue I had was I couldn't download new apps from the App Store. The circle just kept spinning forever. Hopefully fixed in beta 2.

Installed beta 2 of iPad & they’ve fixed the issue where SD cards were not viewable in the files app - thankfully!

The first beta caused many iPhones to overheat, draining the battery and could shorten the battery health.

Hopefully, this beta addresses that issue head on, which is in my opinion, a showstopper bug.

Installed Beta 1 on day 1. My battery performance improved noticeably and my phone was cooler during charging.. but that is just my personal experience.

Suddenly my Outlook app won't sync with my iCloud account. Deleted and reinstalled, and now it won't sign in to iCloud. Set up an Office 365 account just fine.

In Beta 2 I don't see a way any longer to display the temperature at the top of the Lock Screen beside the date, all I can show are the current conditions, my location name and a few other stats like sunrise/set, UVA etc but no temp. Guess I'll get rid of a widget and add one for temp there instead, oh well. Maybe they'll bring that back later.

edit: started working again and displaying the temp. the next day.

Does anyone know if a particular Location Services toggle must be on for the Earth wallpaper to focus on a user's location? Mine looks like California (I think) all the time; it's certainly not the US East Coast.

That was buggy for me in the first beta too. (I'm installing the second now.) It would usually start out showing my location in Ohio, but eventually would revert to showing California and refuse to go back until I deleted the lock screen and set it up again. I gave the stock Weather app permission to use location services at all times, but that didn't help.

Edited to add: So far the location has stuck on the second beta.

I’ve been running beta 1 on an iPhone, 11 and 12 and an iPad Pro, and no issues at all. Just installed beta 2 on both phones.

A real annoying issue for me is trying to have one picture on the Lock Screen and a different picture on the Home Screen. I can set them up but as soon as I close the app, they both change to the Lock Screen photo.

Yes — it’s Beta, but this is lazy & sloppy programming.

notice it mainly on my iPad and it’s only in photos watching back videos I recorded… not on YouTube or anything.
