Shocking that we need to wait until 26.1 for that 😄Liquid Glass has been expanded to the Phone app's keypad. This is what Apple calls innovation these days! Pathetic
Same here.Haven't had any wireless CarPlay issues on a 2025 Subaru Outback.
I install on my iPad, it’s almost 14gb (I come from iPadOS 26.0.1) I need to test slide over comeback!1.96GB on my 17 Pro Max
I've had none of those problems.Good, 26.1 beta 1 has been by far the most unstable beta I have been on since first ios 26.0 beta.
- Phone kept ringing/vibrating after I picked up
- Phone was constantly saying it was full because of memory cache taking up to 50-55GB
- fell into diagnostic mode 3-4 times a day
- very buggy in general
(iPhone 16 Pro)

And I have 26.1 on 3 different version of iPhones.
I was having that also. Whether it was wired or wireless. Would have to restart the phone and then they would go away. That's even more broke. Wireless CarPlay won't stay connected for more than 30 seconds.
I solved that by getting an Android phone.Good, 26.1 beta 1 has been by far the most unstable beta I have been on since first ios 26.0 beta.

I'll be ok by iOS 30 when Apple finally ditches liquid ass!are you ok my man?

The weird thing is that ios26 worked well with my iphone 12 mini and carplay. My new iphone 17, not so much. It sure likes to drop, and then magically pick up or have me reconnect and continue on like nothing happened (both with phone calls and music).Hopefully this fixes Wired CarPlay!!!
2017 Subaru Impreza with the stock media system used to work well with my iphone 12 mini and iOS26. It does drop every so often with my new iPhone 17.Haven't had any wireless CarPlay issues on a 2025 Subaru Outback.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, MacRumors staff… SPLIT the iOS/iPadOS and macOS releases into separate threads!!! The code bases are NOT close enough yet such that issues can be tracked regardless of platform. Stuffing these releases together in one thread does a disservice to those of us trying to socially communicate about issues and troubleshoot them; it turns into a cross-platform swamp of distractions.
Mine was similar on a 17 Pro Max. I was coming from 26.0 released versions8.86GB for a dev beta 2 (17 Pro, non-max)
I think there are irreconcilable differences between Apple and Siri.Possibly won't be fixed in 7 years time when iOS 27 gets released. (Yeah yeah, I'll see myself out)
