This numbering is always confusing.

All I can understand is that if there’s any single new feature in the many dozens of default applications, Apple will be forced to call it an iOS x.x update.

Maps add speed limit signs in 3 countries? That’s a x.x update.

The Calculator can calculate tips? An x.x update.

Photos has a new search filter? You better believe it’s an x.x update!

14.5 was a great release across the board. More of this please Apple.

It’s amazing to me that members here always complain that Apple releases software too frequently as it’s too often half-baked and buggy, and then complains when they take their time and then release a solid update.
Podcast app "improvements" are NOT.

Two different sets of people.
Some complain about too many releases others about too few.

App incompatibility most likely. Just keep checking the update queue in the App Store and installing them when available. This sort of issue resolves itself in a week or so after a major OS update so long as the devs are doing their part.
Thank you, I’ll keep an eye on it!

No way. Did you use older iPhones? They are FAR more stable on release today.
Yes, starting from the first one. It kind of depends on what functionality you use. Early phones were rock solid on most of the core functionality. Today not so much.
