After the **** show that is iOS 13, I have no issue leaving that OS behind

Man, do I ever agree with you! I guess the one positive aspect about this whole pandemic thing' is that Apple appears to be spending more time working on the software than in times past. The improvements in iOS Beta-2 suggest that Apple is addressing deficiencies more quickly, and more effectively. I hope I don't end up eating my words, but that's how I see it so far. 🤞

Right, I might take the leap with this when the pb is released. Do the banking apps like hsbc, Lloyds, barclays etc, and Sky Go app work on this?

Its such a shame they haven’t yet figured out how to cope with widgets in the iPad OS. I bet the concerns are with the rotation of the the screen. Hopefully it will come soon, because it would be very useful for productivity.

Often that isn't really known until people install the update and discover what's new, at which point the articles get
7551F7A7-64D4-4DBD-9E89-290EDC77EAA2.png
updated or new ones might appear covering those details.
Not true; Apple publishes a full list of release notes for each release of their developer software.

It describes all additions, known issues, bug fixes and API changes.
Is that to say that all those user visible details in that linked article and its discussion, as an example, are covered there?

I didn’t say that; and that was not what was asked either. The article is very consumer UI/UX focused, which isn’t the point of the developer beta mind you.

That's why I was asking the questions. To a large extent what most people are curious about and look for when it comes to new updates (beta or otherwise) are new items and changes that users can see and make use of, thus the original reply to the question in that context.
