If i'm reading this correctly, this could be the thing i needed to leave Spotify. I want the ability to favourite an artist and then call up their discography in one click rather than having to add each and every album.

I like Spotify, but Apple Music pays artists more and has lossless music.

Mine has sucked on the 15pro from day 1. Maybe I should have returned it within the 14 day window. None of the betas have helped improve the battery life so far…
Beta. They are for testing. If it’s battery life you are after, stick to release builds and follow Apple’s guidelines on battery life.

So long as it definitely fixes the image persistence (I just cancelled my replacement, but a querty keyboard on dark scenes in movies is really annoying) all will be good in the world.

Has anybody had any issues with iPhone 13 models with Verizon and their physical Sim card?

I was helping someone where their phone kept disconnecting and they received an error saying that the Sim card is not available and after a minute they can reconnect and start using their phone and this would happen randomly.

I had them reseat the Sim card but the problem still was there so they took it to Verizon and they told the customer that they are having issues with iPhone 13 owners who have upgraded to iOS 17 and the Sim becomes unresponsive so they switch them over to the eSIM for now to resolve the problem.

I search the forums but I couldn't find anybody else having this problem apparently it's only affects iPhone 13 and Verizon customers.

Always a bad sign when RCs are re-released.

Wait for the problems when people download the final version....

I'm an Apple evangelist, but iOS17 is a disgrace. Phones switching off in the night (might not be a direct iOS17 issue), Reminders not working properly (no Inbox count on tile, repeat info removed when marking a reminder completed in iCloud.com), 'exclude this location' from items and Air Tags removed every few days. And Watch OS10 - complications not updating (alarms, in particular), excessive battery drain...

I don't mind it when new things don't quite work properly, but all the above is stuff that worked fine in the past....

Don’t think so, buddy.
Yeah you did. If you have a 14 it is NOT this version. RC 2 only for the iPhone 15s.

When did this image retention came up? After how many days of usage?

People will complain battery life will suck when it comes out I bet 😜
My battery life on my 14P has become miserable since 17.0+ (not just first few days of reindexing/etc). I'm really shocked how bad it is. Was going to buy a 15PM but decided not to. Hopefully the 16P with 18.0 will once again last more than six hours. Such is life. Maybe 17.2 will fix it. 🙄 I am pretty lucky I've never had this issue on prior iPhones (I've had them all until 15).

I had it on the official release for the first week and experienced poor battery life, then moved to the beta in hope for bug fixes that would address the poor battery life…
