Hopefully the AirDrop bug gets fixed with the update next week! Anyway glad to hear that image persistence issue is fixed.

Apparently only for 15 series.
My impression is the 15 series need some amount of fixing. I do not remember when similar has happened last time after launch. Will appreciate any hint in replies, whoever remembers that.
I would not let regularly run latest version, release or level of iOS/iclone on anything I use. I am basically jumping time to time following sort of random pattern.
I can also say at the same time “Good that Apple does somewhat care.”
So 15 series users, hey enjoy.

I will help you: Just remember the camera bug with some of the big social media apps that also caused hardware defects.
That was way worse than this year.

I’m hoping this fixes my WiFi issues on my 15 pro max 🤞
Isn't just the Max though. Heaps of people are reporting issues with iOS 17 and wifi.

My wife's iPhone 15 Pro successfully connects to our home Wifi, gets an IP address etc, but shows the "no internet connectivity" message.

If I toggle the Private Address setting it will work for a few hours, then stop, then I can toggle it again, and it will work for a few more hours then stop.

Really bloody annoying for a brand new phone.

My wife "had" issues with her 15ProMax. It ended up being my firewall/UTM setup. I forgot to add her new phone's MAC and give it the right setup. Phone has worked great since.

Anybody see their purchased or custom ringtones on 17.1 yet? I'm agro over loosing them after the 17.x updates!
Thx
Yes, all of mine came back. Now I just want the ability to change the settings to use the Apple "Classic" tones as the default, instead of the new ones.

Are you using 160Mhz channels? What brand of AP?

The specific issue we are seeing is actually pretty common, a good 1,000 people complaining.
The truth is that most home users are still on 2.4 Ghz networks and or older AC hardware.

I have an older Orbi Mesh RBK50 setup (one main router and 2 satellites). WiFi 5 setup. The Orbi system is in Access Point mode. I have my UTM do all the routing.
