Yes and also with 10.13.3... All bad. Mostly has to do with Nvidia. My wifes 2013 macbook pro with iris doesn't have the issues I had. Smooth as butter on her machine.

That's unfortunate.

Yeah, I'm also on a late-2013 MacBook Pro with Iris Pro (i.e., no dGPU). Quite solid.

Yeah. Something to do with VRAM issues from what I've gathered. Fans running more, FPS dropping, and even typing on my keyboard doesn't work correctly as characters will skip from not registering in time.

more than likely its the metal/2 re-write and HD3000/4000 chipsets ... an absolute total abortion of integrity

Before I forget this one again: anyone else been running to a bug where pasting an image into Notes works, but it refuses to show up unless you switch back and forth?

Haven’t filed this yet. Been running into it since 10.13.2-ish, I wanna say?

How do you know it’s buggy for you if you skipped it?
it seems to me that he tried, tested, took it for a test drive, didn't like it then revert back to his previous version
[doublepost=1522230439][/doublepost]i know we have to move on etc, sometimes companies make small little changes, implementing all new features and making the changes little by little but sometimes companies make drastic changes all at one, most of the time people don't like that because they are already used to something, let me give you 2 examples, just like windows 7 was the last true windows, a real desktop operating system, before the horror of mixing a tablet and a desktop os, bloatware, well mavericks was also the last os of his generation, from Yosemite upward up to High Sierra they share the same GUI, some people like it some people don't. that's why some people decide to stay behind because they feel more comfortable with what they like but unfortunately they all will be force to move on eventually because their system will be obsolete then without any update the os will be vulnerable to threat, attack, exploits etc.

there are a few options, don't connect the obsolete system to the internet, use another device to go online and use your old OS for what ever reason is that you use it except going online
the last option is to multi boot, once again use your main old system for what ever reason is that use it except going online then use the 2nd os to go online, then you will have the best of both worlds, you can still use legacy apps in your old system and be secure online with the new system even you don't like the new OS that much and you still preferred the old one but at least you can go online and feel a bit better

No thank you. Still living with Sierra with no spotlight other than web suggestions (bleh) after a clean install and at least 60 hours trying various internet fixes. Which means no email search, no applications list in system report. Thanks Apple.

Had to have Sierra for the latest version of Logic, so. Caveat emptor.

What does mdutil -s / say? How about mdls ~/Library?

HS fixed a problem with digital performer 9.5.1 and Vienna ensemble pro that had caused crashes.... Hopefully this fix will be included when 10.13.4 is released. :)
