Apple Seeds Sixth Beta of iOS 10 to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Anyone know if this version fixes the issue with Good for Enterprise (GfE)? GfE was functional with the betas until the last version (DB6/PB5). I've consequently held off and I'm still running DB6/PB5. Hopeful this corrects the issue.

As I think about this and back to the keynote, it almost seems a bit overkill adding all this stuff to iMessages. But I suppose I don't have to use it either. I wonder if any of the more advanced things can be disabled so others sending me these things come through more normal.

People were leaving iMessage for more "fun" and multiplatform apps such as WhatsApp, Kik, Tango, etc. The more Apple could enhance their own messaging platform, the more people will stay on iOS and have less incentive to move to other platforms.

I guess I wasn't one of those people and have never used any of those other apps. I'm quite happy with basic emoji and ability to send photos and very short videos from time to time.

The timing (just 1 week after last beta instead of the usual 2) and small size suggest final beta before GM. Remember, all past final betas weren't all that stable nor free of major bugs (especially the Music app).

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but I think it has been like that since the beginning. At least, I've been able to use 3D Touch on those without having them as widgets.

There was only one week between Beta 4 and Beta 5. I'm still predicting one more beta. Apple usually goes 2-3 weeks between final beta and GM, this will be 4 weeks. Last year it was a month, but that was the first time they spread it out that far. There is definitely time for one more beta.
