I like the new UI for system settings. It is easy to use.
Can you explain what you mean by "grouped together"? Sounds interesting but I don't have any groupings.Does anyone else have the problem with Stage Manager that apps grouped together all are ungrouped after the computer wakes from sleep?
I use a WD MyCloud Home for Time Machine backups and have had no issues with any of the Ventura betas... Monterey on the other hand quite often used to refuse to backup over wifi - it would only complete a backup when I used my USB C to ethernet adapter to connect via ethernet.Anyone else not able to back up in Time Machine since last two betas of Ventura? Using Time Capsule and won’t connect to back-up since beta 4.
Sure. I have Basecamp and Outlook grouped, then Messages and Signal, Fanstical and Things. When I click on the group in Stage Manager both apps are brought to the front. However, when the Mac sleeps, all apps are ungrouped so that Outlook is no longer paired with Basecamp, etc.Can you explain what you mean by "grouped together"? I had that problem 3 times with beta 5. My 14" MBP would appear connected to a known Wifi network but wouldn't route any traffic. I tried using my iPhone as hotspot, connecting to my home and office's networks and nothing worked. I had to wipe my MB all 3 times and start over for it be fixed. Just terrible. Hoping this won't happen again with beta 6.Does anyone else have networking problems where you'll connect to wifi but not actually route traffic?
Thanks! One more question, @calvin2006 : How do you group them? I tried grabbing one the little minimized elements and tried to drag it on top of another one (mimicking creating a folder in iOS) but nada. Thank you.Sure. And for me as well! This seemed to be a change made on purpose, but I'm glad to see that all of my windows are opening in the same spots & sizes again. Seems like something that should 'just work' if you ask me.However, happy to report that windows now seem to revert to their previous positions when I turn it off. Big fix/improvement for me!
Interesting, I’m gonna try a wired connection, thanks for the suggestion.I use a WD MyCloud Home for Time Machine backups and have had no issues with any of the Ventura betas...
