Regarding Betas not showing up. Seems like I have to restart at least one HomePod before it will show up and download for all of them. Annoying but no big deal. 🦖🦖🦖🦖

For me DB1 was a gem, DB2 and DB3 had some apps quitting (Safari for example), DB3 revised (first PB) was improved. DB4 had that mostly fixed (PB2). DB5 introduced some new issues. Such as DB5 battery optimization was causing M1 Max MBP to reboot when shut down. DB6 fixed that reboot problem.

After installing this update, one of my WiFi networks that was set Auto-join off was reset to auto-join on. Just be aware of this if you don't want your computer automatically joining certain known networks.
Is the general consensus here that Sonoma is a Snow Leopard type of year/update?

Still using Big Sur because video previews UI glitch is still not fixed, looking how many years it will take to do a 1 line of code fix.

macOS 14 Beta 6 added the Sonoma Screen Saver
That makes me weirdly sad.
Big Sur was the first macOS version whose release I followed, having switched to Mac when Catalina was already established. Probably I would still be using Big Sur if I didn't find universal control such a compelling feature.
That really depends on whether or not you see any worthwhile features in Sonoma that you'd like to use.
For me there's not an awful lot tbh - but I have a 2020 intel MBP kicking around that isn't seeing much use so I have a computer to install betas on out of curiosity

I can't believe we're talking about Widgets again in 2023. It's giving me Windows Vista vibes.
tighter Facebook integration doesn't draw in as many customers any more, so there needs to be some new gadget.
