I am hoping with the high Sierra release the DVD player will still work. Currently it shows up as 32bit with MacOS 10.12.6.

Hi,
I just updated my iMac 27" 5K to the last MacOS High Sierra Beta 6 and the colors are all messed up.
Its like inverted colors but when I activate the option the colors don't get back to normal, they are even more strange.
Anyone with the same problem?
Plenty of things you can try:
A simple restart
A PRAM/NVRAM reset
A SMC reset
Starting up in Safe Boot, Hold the Shift Key while pressing the On button, this clears caches.
There are more solutions, try the above first.
It's probably Graphics card/driver related.
Apple is not killing 32-bit apps in High Sierra. That change only occurs with iOS 11.I am hoping with the high Sierra release the DVD player will still work. Currently it shows up as 32bit with MacOS 10.12.6.

I see this beta 17A344b completely removed the ability to sign on with the Apple Watch. It was very buggy in the last beta, only worked 1 out of 10 times. But worked 9 out of 10 times 2 betas back. I wonder what the problem is?
hi, I converted two 8rb hard drives and it took about three minutes each to convert.I wonder if the fans turn on when playing H.265 video if you have older hardware that will require software based decoding. What is the experience of migrating from a encrypted HFS to APFS? Does that take hours and hours? All I ever hear about the Betas is icons.
"Starting in January of 2018, all new apps submitted to the Mac App Store must be 64-bit, and all apps and app updates submitted must be 64-bit by June 2018. With the next version of macOS after High Sierra, Apple will begin "aggressively" warning users about 32-bit apps before eventually phasing them out all together."Apple is also killing 32-bit apps with MacOS but in 2018 as part of a point release update. It isn't a big deal if you have VMWare Fusion though since you can place any 32-bit apps in a Mac VM.
Here is the link (from Macrumors) about dumping 32-bit in MacOS:
