Two weeks passed already since the last beta?

Where the **** did the last two weeks go?

Why is time passing so fast?

**** my life.

I have to underclock the universe and make it run slower.

Someone please find me the CPU and jumper settings.

Yes, life as an adult! When you find that Clock of the Universe, can you please make it run in reverse?

All betas have been pretty stable on my iPhone and iPad Pro. Stage Manager was cool, but for my needs, is only a novelty. Only issues I have had on my iPhone seem to be resolved for the most part. The best part of iOS 16 for me has been the updates to Messages app and adding the battery percent indicator finally.

Yeah I agree…… The iOS 16 basically worsened from prohibiting my Bluetooth amp to play back any music despite being connected, to a point in Beta 4 where it’ll literally just randomly disconnect AND quit the Music app once I play any Apple Music content.

It seemed to have gone away for beta 5 but for a problem that existed for multiple version of iOS to literally breaking features…… I’m pondering whether a “mess” is really enough to describe the roller coaster ride with the beta lol
A mess? It's a beta, what more do you expect. Report it to Apple

Nope, go right to beta 6.

What’s the deal with this?

I’ve not installed iOS 16 before I added Beta profile and it only shows Beta 4. So I need to install Beta 4 to get Beta 6? I had been waiting for a more stable version like Beta 6
I think the original post needs its wording updated... Dev is Beta 6, PB is on 4 now..

My only "issue" with the beta 16(s) so far has been battery drain (perceived) faster than before.
No log aggregated available to monitor battery usage.
Also to me it seems some builds get the phones to warm up faster while others are rather normal, or „as one might expect“. PB2 was ok I thought and PB3 definitely wasn’t. Let’s see what this one brings with it.

Well, I've been reporting this issue to Apple every single time it happened. Same for the bluetooth dac disconnecting issue too but for the latter issue, after 3 years of submitting the issue/report, I practically never received a reply and the issue is still there. So........ yeah.

I do know it's a beta and it's expected to be buggy, and with the "mess" I meant the aftermath of enlarging certain issues that had been there for years (the the potential emotional ride internally) and making it 2x times worse that how they were previously shoved away and ignored.

Thus looking back, nothing could be as bad as iOS 7 beta. lol

Anyone else have their Dictation feature go back to iOS 15 style? My phone is not utilizing the Dictation updates.

Felt the same ever since I started betas with iOS 9.
I miss iOS 12 (and basically 13) and I think it’s crazy that there are still bugs present from iOS 11, since the first notched iPhone. Still present today. Incredible.

and why can’t we yet select part of an iMessage to copy and past? Here’s an address, now copy the entire message add it to notes and then select what you want copy then past. Why!

Color me late to the party, but I just tried jumping to iPadOS 16 from 15.6, and I had to really look in Settings / About to confirm it was updated. With it being a 2018 iPad Pro, pre-M1 & AS, is there ANYthing new I'd see?

The betas for iOS 7, 8, 9 and 11 were one of the worst ones I've ever dealt with. iOS 7 beta being really sluggish and on the 3rd beta of iOS 11 my phone kept respringing every time I locked my phone

Anyone else seeing their iPhone very hot (to the point where it pauses charging until it cools down) with recent betas?

I've looked at Console and one thing that's suspicious is that "ClockAngel" (iOS 16's live activity for timer, maybe?) crashes every two seconds.

On an iPad, I believe you should notice a different typeface for the clock on the lockscreen.

There's also a Weather app now.

That’s about how far I got in my list, too. Can’t even change the typeface, either. Let’s hope there’s some kind of iPadOS 16.1 update that brings more features to the iPad.
