What is so annoying that Maps after so many years of introduction is still not functioning to its potential outside the US. If Apple revamp it and made it usable to everyone, then this would be great feature!

I forgot to take a screenshot, but I updated by iPad this afternoon, 12 hours later I got a pop up saying there is a new version of iOS then something.. I checked and nothing...

Edit: just appeared on my phone too

iPhone X and iPad Pro 12.9 Gen 2 - iOS 12 beta 10 installed already

Must be getting close to a GM
Really? We are 2-3 weeks away from launch, so what makes you think it's close to GM

I got this today too... before AND after updating!

So is this one safe to use as your daily driver? I really want to try it.

Isn’t 4:00 pm on a Thursday weird to release the next beta?

Using it on my 7+ and find it's really stable. In fact, To be honest, I don't use new features like ScreenTime. So for my normal everyday use of messages, calls, web and social media, I've noticed absolutely no difference from iOS11. If I didn't know for fact I was on iOS12 I'd think it was still on iOS11. There is really nothing to get excited about.

Apple's clearly delivered on their promise of fewer odd bugs and more stability in iOS 12 beta 10 - that does NOT mean it's bug-free. The messages above about updating, which I have also received - are a clear indicator of that. However, the beta shouldn't be expiring... what could be expiring is Apple's original idea of how long the beta testing period should last, and that's a much harder thing to fix.

I’m sorry iOS 11, I really am. But you’re going down in the history books as the OS that wanted to be great, but never could.
Lmao big facts
[doublepost=1535107776][/doublepost]I got a notification to update to the latest beta don’t know if anyone got that too

Ok, installed the beta on primary driver with some trepidation. All seems well however. Make phone calls, bluetooth, check Facebook, email and safari all working properly. I'll check the rest tomorrow, and we'll see how battery life is.

Grouped notifications are really nice.
I have to agree. That will be the one I notice most.
I ended up putting the latest beta on my iPad 12.9 v1 this morning and it is pretty impressive.
The differences are subtle but I feel the whole UI experience is smoother and more intuitive, like the iPhone X.

That there’s nothing to get excited about is a great thing. There are some videos about the multiple enhancements to iOS 12, some of them cool.

Based on what I’ve seen in the last 24 hours, this would be a good daily driver.

But other than the predictive text, it seems like iOS 11, with some smoothness added in.

Guys, on the 8th PB, is it yet possible to sync music and photos to your Mac? Or is this something that won't be at all possible until the full release of iOS 12?

Any beta testers experiencing the following phone issue: When prompted to call a contact’s mobile number, Siri responds that the person doesn’t have one, and instead offers to call a home number.

Not experiencing this on my X.

I had the same message. From a phone that’s been in airplane mode for 24 hours.

Must be a built in timer.

This is my first time trying a public beta. I hated iOS 11 so much I couldn't wait to leave it behind, even if the next version is unfinished.

7th beta was draining the battery in my X like crazy.

We’ll see about 8.

I am not sure if it is already mentioned in any exiting thread but with ios12 beta AirDrop sends recorded vids and photos without converting it to jpeg or h264, which is major for my workflow.

Oh yes, when I said "nothing to get excited about" I didn't mean it in a negative way, I'm very happy that Apple have concentrated on stability. There are some cool enhancements when you look for them, but when using the device in an everyday scenario without specifically looking for an enhancement, they don't necessarily jump out at you, they just work. This is a VERY GOOD thing.

I am also getting the popup on two iOS devices that I just installed this new beta that says

"A new iOS update is now available. Please update from iOS 12 beta."

I also have the red indicator on settings, but no updates available. A simple glitch me thinks!
