You do know Apple is onto version macOS 12, and this is a beta for macOS 13, right? OSX hasn't been in development for a long time now.If like Apple OSX upgrade for about a decade or more maybe I can upgrade to it in a year or so. Every Apple OSX upgrade for people using Mac's for music and audio is so full of compatibility issues it can take a year or more for many of the compatibility issues to be resolved. Apple bends over backward for video app makes, but people buy Mac for music and audio just as much if not more, especially in this day that DIY music is growing in popularity. Apple needs to start giving a dam about the music and audio industry it generates a lot of Mac sales.
If you can't figure out this issue as it sometimes happens, you can always create a ASR backup, then do a DFU restore which factory resets everything (wipe, clean OS install with correct system FW) from another Mac or with the help of staff at the Apple Store, and then use migration assistant to restore settings/applications/data to your M1 Max 16" MBP.I deleted all extensions (they were all off to start with and have been throughout the beta, but I figured I'd just uninstall them altogether, which is a major pain since I had to delete apps). I don't run ad blockers. I'm on the latest beta, just installed about 30 minutes ago. It's running on an M1 Max 16" MBP. I don't have the beta running on any of my other Macs. As I mentioned before, Safari 16 misbehaved on those Monterey machines, too, but shutting off the one config eliminated the beach balls. When beta 7 Ventura was initially installed, my Monterey machines all had the 16 update for Safari at the same time. That's when all the problems began.
Definitely a possibility. Doing a wipe and starting over is tempting, and I've been thinking about doing just that for a while, but I keep thinking Apple will fix the problem. Maybe I won't be so lucky. I should see how it works restoring to a current backup and restoring to a backup taken before Safari went wonky. Good suggestions, btw!If you can't figure out this issue as it sometimes happens, you can always create a ASR backup, then do a DFU restore which factory resets everything (wipe, clean OS install with correct system FW) from another Mac or with the help of staff at the Apple Store, and then use migration assistant to restore settings/applications/data to your M1 Max 16" MBP.
They were always going to.Does it seem they’re ploughing ahead with the new System Settings app?
Which part? Continuity is like the umbrella for a lot of features like copy-pasting, sidecar, universal control, document scanning from iphone etc. All of the ones I can think of work for me, in fact better than ever. But not sure if I use all parts so curious if there's some part I'm overlooking and it's not working.Continuity still broken like in Beta 9.
Mac does not recognize the iPhone as continuity camera or mic. The phone does does not exist at all. These were working until Beta 8. Enabling, disabling on both devices does not change anything.Which part? First, wth is a screen saver for these days? LED/LCDs are so quick to wake, isn't it more efficient to just put them to sleep? Finally, the Ventura screen saver is here!

The Ventura beta 10 full installer is now available. It wasn't yesterday (although the ipsw file was). There is also a Monterey 12.6.1 RC2 build 21G211 - up from the previous RC1 build 21G207.
Although there is a full installer for 21G207, there doesn't seem to be for 21G211 yet.
I did finally get Safari to finally slow up after a few hours on a 16 MB M1 iMac, but it was having two private windows (one with multiple tabbed URLs, one playing Viki), and one normal window with Netflix opened). It was running flawlessly up to the point it suddenly froze all the windows, did an empty cache and waited a few seconds and everything stared to be fluid again. So yeah its better now.Definitely a possibility. Doing a wipe and starting over is tempting, and I've been thinking about doing just that for a while, but I keep thinking Apple will fix the problem. Using the full installer didn’t occur to me until I read your post. There are rare occasions when an incremental installer can cause issues like my Safari problem. Running the full installer might be a good first step when trying to figure that out before doing a reinstallation. Thanks for the idea. The Ventura beta 10 full installer is now available. There is also a Big Sur 11.7.1 RC2 build 20G912 up from the previous RC1 build 20G908.
The full installer for this is available - and so too is the full installer for Monterey 12.6.1 RC2 build 21G211.
It seems that apple wait for public beta releases before releasing full installers to developers, probably because they usually use the same one.
Well, here's something interesting. I downloaded and installed the Safari Technology Preview and it runs flawlessly. Meanwhile I launch the regular beta version of Safari and it continues to choke badly on most websites with repeated errors. How odd. But now that I can run "Safari", well at least a version of it, I don't need to do a reinstall. Since the preview installs separately from the regular Safari, I can continue checking the various beta versions that will continue to pop up and see if my issue gets fixed. If it doesn't by the time Ventura releases officially to the public, then I'll do a reinstallation.I did finally get Safari to finally slow up after a few hours on a 16 MB M1 iMac, but it was having two private windows (one with multiple tabbed URLs, one playing Viki), and one normal window with Netflix opened). Interesting, you might check the develop settings between the two, like did you change something in the past to the original Safari and when you updated it from Monterey to Ventura it maintained that settings that cause the issues?Well, here's something interesting. I'm typing this on the problematic machine right now in the Safari Technology Preview. I can't get this site to load at all on regular Safari.
My Safari went wonky in beta 7. I hadn’t made any changes at all to the system. One beta it worked fine and the next it didn’t. The only difference was installing beta 7. I also never have the Developer menu active since I’m not doing any web work at the moment and have no need to tweak any of those settings. Most of the settings are pretty much default, though I’ve been trying to turn things on and off to see if they fix my problems. I did activate the developer menu in order to wipe caches. That’s pretty much the only time I use it.Interesting, you might check the develop settings between the two, like did you change something in the past to the original Safari and when you updated it from Monterey to Ventura it maintained that settings that cause the issues?
