how can you tell from this build version? The build of this version is 14B71, probably GM.

gotcha, how's it working on your iPad? is it worth risking the 7 Plus to get portrait mode? The general consensus is that if it doesn't end in a small letter its a GM candidate build. But that has been changing over the last several .X release cycles.
I can confirm with Beta 3 there still is that horrible shutting apps lag, I give up with Apple, my 7 Plus is a joke

Same here. What iPhone were you using? I was using the beta on my SE and battery drain dramatically. I restored it back to the original 10 and its back to normal. I'll stick with it and wait out this update until final release is ready.I haven't been following the beta track to much but I downgraded from iOS 10.0.2 to 10.0.1 because of how much my battery tanked. I don't plan on upgrading until I hear they resolved the battery issues with iOS 10.1.... whats the battery like on this and the earlier betas.
Seems to be okay. I bit the bullet, installing on my 7Plus. If it glitches, I will just go back.
let me know once it reboots if you feel the difference going from 10.0.2 to 10.1 beta 3!

Right off the bat, phone is more responsive. Time will tell with little things here and there. Also with battery life. 10.0.2 was really good for me but I keep hearing good things about beta 2, so fingers crossed.
Hold lock button until slide to power off. Slide to power off and let phone shut down. Then power it back up, enter passcode when prompted, open Settings, General, Software Update and then tap Install and follow the prompts. Definitely something they need to fix as I got hit with it too.Anyone else having issues updating from beta 2 OTA? Have an iPhone 7 Plus stuck in a update/reboot loop. It acts like it is updating and reboots as expected, then prompts to update again. Even selecting the "update later" option causes it to immediately reboot and try to update again. Then it reboots, Settings has the red "1" badge, it prompts to update, and repeat.
So what is that touch issue from other threads? Both my iPhone 7+ and my iPad Pro 9.7 are experiencing the "touch issue" discussed on other threads. I have to double-click the Home button and swipe the app off memory, and reopen it. This happens on 3rd party apps; I haven't noticed this on Apple's apps.
I could have told you that before you bought it!I can confirm with Beta 3 there still is that horrible shutting apps lag, I give up with Apple, my 7 Plus is a joke
Actually, even if face-up. Looks like better 'on a table' detection.
Why in the world are you playing with beta software then?
