Seriously, how hard is it to fix the calculator bug?!? It’s so stupid, it just needs to be fixed already!!
I am sorry but that is not a valid answer. I did not run single beta on my phone. I went from 10.3.3 which was silky smooth to 11.0.3. The difference is like I went back in time in phones. The response of do a full wipe and re-build is not acceptable. I am not supposed to just loose my iMessages every year cause apple can't be bothered to write an OS that is not so laden with bugs that I have to contort my self to make it work passable. Thats the thing apples official line is wipe and restore from backup which is the same things as upgrade. If the issue is a bad setting file then they need to take ownership of that and make it right. They need to test against real world users data migration. This every year oh well mine is fine wipe yours thing has to end. I know what your saying. I do it I have done it and will probably have to do it. That is still not an excuse. iOS the windows 7 of mobile operation systems. When it does not work just wipe it and start over every 6 months cause well....... thats the only way to make it work right signed apple
You understand that every article about iOS 11.1 betas are going to mention the new emoji because it’s a new feature in iOS 11.1 and those betas are coming out weekly. Are you guys really going to complain every single time a new iOS 11.1 beta comes out?
Don't use them. If you have more complaints, feel free to take it all up with the Unicode Consortium, given that that's where it all essentially comes from.Yes. We don't need freaking emoji's. This is just re-inventing the wheel with a shiny new cover on top.
Enough of this emoji garbage. Anyone with an IQ doesn't care.
iOS 11 has been absolute dog ***** for me.
Claiming that the issues are limited to a "few hundred (or thousand)" is what's known as a claim without a warrant. In layman's terms, you're just making **** up.There are close to 500 million people on iOS 11. A few hundred (or thousand) posting about issues online is hardly significant.
What were you saying about critical reasoning again?
I've had decent luck with iOS 11 and the 11.1 beta on my 7. Occasionally my bluetooth music drops out for a few seconds, then comes back in. Occasionally some operations cause some stuttering. Overall quite stable.

Did they fix the camera icon in Messages photo chooser window? What about the Reminders icon in Settings —> Profile (at top) —> iCloud?
And if you read what I posted, I didn't. (Although since we are on the topic, many of the day zero issues and bugs affect 100% of devices and users.)But...you can’t claim otherwise, either.
Could be right famiOS 11.1 Beta 3 - 16th Oct
iOS 11.1 Beta 4 - 23rd Oct
iOS 11.1 GM - 31st Oct/1st Nov
iPhone X - 3rd Nov (iOS 11.1 Public)
iOS 11.1 Public for rest of eligible devices - 6th Nov.
This should be the timeline. I was discussing this with my friends earlier.
This is no surprise. Touch ID already has this same behavior as long as the notification settings are set up right. This example is just using Face ID instead if Touch ID.
Wonder if this fixes the bluetooth sound issue a ton of people have been having (including me).
Once the phone takes a call on bluetooth, it stops working for normal calls until you restart. They can hear me, but I can't hear them. Super frustrating.
Too busy making emoji explains the lack of a Mac Pro.
