Anyone else running into an issue with QuickTime and external displays? QuickTime freezes when trying to play .mp4 video files (GoPro, Insta360, etc.). Also not showing preview in Finder when click on files. They play fine when using just the MBP display. Playing also seems to work on external display when I use a 3rd party app like Insta360 player. This was also an issue on 2nd beta.

As it did with Beta 2 my Mail App is still freezing in Beta 3. Also, I can't open Photo's without it freezing as well... My FaceTime is also freezing...

It's due to a connected second monitor. i.e. an iMac connected to a macbook. Disconnect and all is well...

Do eGPUs still crash in this build?

B1/B2 crashed at login with an eGPU connected.

Downloading is taking ages here in the UK... probably the servers are overloaded.
Can't complain here.

is there any way to update from terminal? I can't update, as system preferences don't work in beta 2 for me. can't press any button there, as it freezes all the time.

Too bad my very capable mac mini with AMD graphics is not supported.

Apple Metal support was the reason for the cut off from what I have read and something about HD 4000 series ?

Really delighted that apple have also released a full installer for beta 3 too. To get it just run the beta access configuration utility which opens the system updates system preference pane. Don't just open it yourself because that just gives you the delta update.

How do I do this? I checked via Software Update pref pane, and also via terminal. No new betas show up. Is the availability of these betas different from the public betas?

Hhhmmm, not all true. I remember instances in the past when some betas were faster then the final release. Still a valid point to discuss.

Yeah, don't get it either, Mojave beta 1 was fast, I think it was even faster than the last High sierra version I had before that.
Might be because it disables plugins and some startup items if they are not supported.

I get the developer betas.

Yes they are different to public betas although very similar. They are released at different times.

The only version of mojave which is not released to public beta testers is developer beta 1. But most have moved on from that now anyway. Not sure when public beta 2 will come out but it should be similar to developer beta 3.

Is anybody testing Adobe CS6 on this? Because I feel I might skip High Sierra and go straight to this from 10.12

the dynamic wallpaper might actually be working now. it never had before

Dynamic wallpaper was working in non-dark mode only previously; in this build it seems to have stopped working altogether, for me at least.

Does work ... only one HomePod
iPhone, iPad and Apple TV support stereo Homepods through Airplay 2. High Sierra does not. So we are interested in finding out whether Mojave supports stereo Homepods. Otherwise, maybe there is an update to iTunes in the pipeline to give this (basic) functionality.

I guess the public beta hasn't been released still, doesn't show any update over here.

Is there a way to download the installer and create a USB installer from it? I'd quite like to nuke my system and install DP3 from scratch
