Speaker issues? Yep. My MBPtb 2017 was just fine until installing Mojave. Immediately after that the right speaker distorts all the time. Sounds like garbage. Left speaker is fine. Audio output to external speakers is fine. I worked with Apple techs to do all kinds of resets and trashing prefs and it didn't solve the problem. My company's tech support says to wait for the 10.14.1 update and see what happens. Anyone else have that happen?

Supposedly this beta FIXES the problem with using qualifying iMacs in Target Display Mode with any 2018 MacBook Pro! I do not get the betas so can't test it myself but others say TDM now works! A big deal for those of those that have had almost useless brand new laptops when in the office and can't hook up to the needed bigger screen.

Ok so should I be worried that the green light for an active FaceTime camera has been on through the update process so far....

Same issue here. I have reported this issue to Apple. I would encourage you to do the same.

The speaker issue is fixed and has been for almost a month. It used to happen on my macbook pro 2018. The problem no longer exists. Buy your macbook and enjoy.
I contacted Apple who clarified with an Engineer hat the issue is fixed only for a small number of users but there are many others still being plagued by the issue !
They said that an update will be coming to MacBook 2018!!

A nice reading:
Why the Mac Pro 5,1 is the best system for Creative Professionals 2018: Internal expandability and unparalleled workstation customisation

The real strength of the 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro systems come from their internal expandability. The Mac Pro is equipped with 4 SATA drive bays and 4 PCI-E 2.0 slots. This means unrivalled customisation and a never ending supply of new components that make the Mac Pro 5,1 better every year.

That’s so hilarious I’ll remember it for YEARS hahahahahahahaha

I was the main tester of this machine on the Mac Pro forums. It is too slow to be useful for modern video editing or CG even if you upgrade every part. The CPU and memory speed is the main bottleneck that can’t be eliminated.

Creative media standards have rocketed too high in the last two years and outpacing hardware. Even a 5Ghz 9900K with 4Ghz memory is actually not fast enough for what creatives are filming at 8K and rendering in CG now.
