its strange it showed and installed with no problem on my 16 MacBook Pro M1 but still cant it to show up on the 14 M1

Hey all

It just would not show up for me at all either, like others have been saying. Even toggling between 'Beta Updates' Off, Public, and Developer wouldn't kick it in.

Got it to appear by turning WiFi off, selecting 'Software Update', it obviously says can't check etc. Then turned WiFi back on, went back out to 'General' in Settings then selected 'Software Update' again, and it appeared.

Basically give it a kick. :p

Thanks

IT'S OUT!!!

Just noticed that one Safari issue I had for a very long time changed recently, possibly with this beta.

That is that you could not sign into Netflix while using private window mode with Apple's tracking and privacy preserving measures active. Now I can.

In Mail, does anyone else try to use "Open Link Behind Mail" and have the Safari window open in front of Mail—even though the MacBook menubar still says "Mail"?

It's a small annoyance but bugs me a lot. In newsletters and such, I like to click links to open the page while I keep reading the mail. It's a great idea for a feature, but hasn't worked since Sonoma appeared.

Anyone else?

Do Stickies remember where they were stuck? Or do they all just move themselves to the boot monitor after a restart?

Have they added a master slider to control the brightness of all connected displays or does one still have to manually adjust each one?

ALL the time... been that way since Sonoma I think. And not consistent which is makes it even more frustrating... sometimes it properly opens it in a tab in Safari which remains the window BEHIND mail and other times it pops Safari forward as the active app. Can't figure out the pattern even. It might have to do with the webpage that opens because its the same link seems to have the same behavior (behind or pop to front). But like you said, I get newsletters/weekly summary emails and want to skim the summaries and right-click/open behind as I find articles to read later and many (most) bring Safari forward. So to continue I have to click the open email window again to go back to the list to continue to open links for later. ack!
