Any fixes for 3rd party keyboards? Can't believe they're still so nasty considering it was a headline feature.

Example: Entering contact names, keeps skipping a field.

Has Apple stated when they are going to release the public beta program for iOS? I am already on the program of OSX and am excited to get on the iOS beta wagon.

So no public beta yet with this release?
It was rumored that iOS 8 beta 3 would see a public release as part of the AppleSeed program.

Has anyone else seen the issue where iCloud Photo Library seems to be stuck at "41 Items to Upload" (or however many you may have)?

Been happening since beta 2 I think and still seems to be present on beta 3. I've done all the basics (ensured I'm on wifi, restart, etc). Only thing I haven't done is turned iCloud Photo Library off and back on. Trying to avoid that because I'm nervous about potential photo loss being that this is in beta.

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

same here. It is working just fine for me.

For me, 8.2 filled all my empty space with my cloud library and wouldn't let me take new pictures or install new apps. Had to disable the library on my phone completely to free the space back up.

iCloud backups working in beta3

Does this fix iCloud backups that was broken in Beta 2?

It's working for me, now - didnt in previous beta's

Same here - but can confirm that my library now says synced - Last updated 21 minutes ago. Previous beta's was a continous cycle and never finishing.

I am having major problems with the Photo Library Syncing. My iMac uploaded everything fine, but on my iPhone there are so many things waiting to upload/download its ridiculous and its stuck. In the same boat...way more than 41 however.

Am really thinking this is STILL nowhere near ready for prime time, especially when you consider the nature of the data involved, photos, which is among the most precious data most people have.

It's gonna probably be another year before I even consider using iCloud Photo Library, if I ever do.

I assume they would never mention performance increases etc in the description? Have they ever done that before in previous updates?
Sure they have. Not sure if anything like that would get called out in a beta update, but things of that nature have been called out by Apple in public releases.

I just received an invite from Apple to join a Public Beta on iOS 8.3. Looks like they're expanding their Public Beta program based on the success of it with Yosemite.

New iOS Beta Program
Thank you for participating in the OS X Beta Program. For the first time ever, we are broadening the program to include the all-new iOS Beta. The feedback you have provided on the OS X Yosemite Beta continues to help us shape OS X, and we would like to offer you an invitation to the iOS 8.3 Beta.

The iOS 8.3 Beta is available for download from the new Apple Beta Software Program website. Try it out and submit your feedback. You can use the iOS 8.3 Beta while continuing to use the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Beta. And with the all-new Photos app for Mac and iCloud Photo Library, you can now access your entire library on all your devices.
