Sure they have. Not sure if anything like that would get called out in a beta update, but things of that nature have been called out by Apple in public releases.

In that case, technically, iOS 8.2 didn't bring any performance improvements. Which I guess on the one hand might be difficult to quantify if you for instance remove excess code which makes the UI run a bit better.

Anyway, I find myself seeing that maybe auto-scrolling has improved somewhat with 8.2 in terms of not stuttering as much. It's still not consistent or good enough though.

Has anyone else seen the issue where iCloud Photo Library seems to be stuck at "41 Items to Upload" (or however many you may have)?

Been happening since beta 2 I think and still seems to be present on beta 3. I've done all the basics (ensured I'm on wifi, restart, etc). Only thing I haven't done is turned iCloud Photo Library off and back on. Trying to avoid that because I'm nervous about potential photo loss being that this is in beta.

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

My iPad has been stuck there since iOS 8.0, my iPhone however has no problems.

How long have you had it enabled? And are you using the Photos app beta on Yosemite? I dealt with this kind of thing for a few days, after a while it resolves itself. How many days have you waited?

They've added the (Beta) label back to the iCloud Photo Library toggle in the Photos section of Settings.app

It appears they forgot it in 8.3 b2 or realized it was a bit too aggressive to assume this thing is ready for prime time. I imagine they'll tag Photos.app beta as well in 10.10.3 or at least leave Beta for iCloud Photo Library.

Still, though, while my experience using it since Photos was released with 10.10.3 b1 has been mildly buggy, I still like the service and am just keeping local backups as well.

8.3 beta feels snappier, icloud backup works again

8.3 beta appears to be faster when comparing it to my wifes 8.1. And with beta 3 icloud backup works again. So it seems :apple: made structural changes to their infrastructure, which may also explain the widespread outage we saw a few days ago.

Will LTE Voice be available to 5s Users? I've learned, that the 5s uses some Qualcom Chip which has support for VoLTE...

Speed improvements for iPad 3 on 8.3 b3 much like b1. Beta 2 made my iPad 3 unusable.

Seems faster and more responsive than 8.1.x

Battery meter freezing bug

In ios 8.3 beta3 ,Did they fixed battery percentage freezing issue on 61% and jump to 59%, 31% to 29%, 28% to 26% and 16% to 14%, this bug is not being addressed in ios 8.1 to 8.2, i do not know if this is a hardware problem or software.

This is a software issue because my iPad mini 2 perfectly read all the percentages from 100% to 1% before dying and now it skips those numbers you listed. Well, I know about 61-59% and 31-29% but I didn't pay attention to 28-26 or 16-14.

Anyone else's iPhone 6 or any iPhone for that matter seariously heating up while charging or while using safari and reading articles? First time this is happening to me. :(

Are both of you really observing the battery numbers while decreasing one unit after another ???

I'm shocked....

No, it just so happens to catch my eye. Like when you look up at the percentage and it changes as soon as you glance at it. Also, when people report that it skips a certain number, next time I get to that percentage I just keep glancing up every so often (more than usual, but not just staring it down the whole time) to see if it really does skip that number. You know, just to verify out of curiosity.

See, I only discovered the 61-59% skip on my own. Just recently I learned about the 15% skip, the 30% skip, and the 20-odd% skip. When I heard about them I just wanted to see it happen, so when the time came, like I said, I would glance up there more often to see it happen. Then I would be like "Oh. Interesting" and move on. So no, I don't stare down the battery percentage 24/7 to observe these issues.

The hands on the clock app are much thinner now.
