Now if they could re-assign some of those emoji engineers to the networking side... fixing mDNSResponder/discoveryd would be a good start.

You want emoji designers working on your mDNSResponder?!

heh, I know what you mean. Lets focus on the important things right now apple!

Thanks to improved emojis, I will be able to express my emotions more accurately. Which will result in a healthier social life. Thanks Apple!

Exactly. Instead of just being a voice among voices on the Internet speaking to other voices we can now identify our race and maybe culture instantly. That way we can be divided before our words are considered.

For example someone whining about the mobs in Ferguson can be dismissed as, "a typical white guy" without considering the words. Conversely a complaint about Ferguson's police can be dismissed as "typical black guy".

Apple can we get race, gender, sexual orientation and religion all combined into cute little emojis so we can really be pre-divided into our stereotyped, pre-selected group?

Only two updates I really want from Apple in Mac OS X right now.
* WiFi
* Sleep / Wake screen issues on rMBP
there's other stuff I'd like to see fixed (graphics glitches, etc...) but those are the two that bite me the most.

Of the many bugs in Yosemite, I hope they at least fix the lag I've been experiencing on my Macbook Pro 2014: Safari, Mail, even typing or switching between applications, it all feels very Windows 95.

On my iMac 2013 everything runs fine, so I know it's not a general problem. But still: if that's your first experience with Mac, it's not a very good one...

BUG FIXED???

Whenever you take an HTML5 video in Safari fullscreen and than back to normal, the shadow of the OS X menubar is gone until you switch to another app and than back to Safari.

Still not fixed?

Also the Finder window size constantly resets itself.

I don't think Apple will release OSX 10.11 this WWDC, maybe they will change to a 18 months release date

There are no emojis with my skin color AND hair color. I feel discriminated against! I'll never buy another Apple product. They discriminate against my people!

thank god there are more diverse emojis now. i can finally sleep at night.

Funny how there seems to be way more people getting (bizarrely) worked up about the fact that Apple added a few more emojis than I’ve seen people complaining about the lack of them...

And no, the one or two graphic designers assigned to this were not pulled away from fixing bugs. Those would be software engineers working on that.

Do any of you have problems with Finder not launching from dock with OS X 10.10.3?

It quit working for me yesterday, there's a work around, but it's a nuisance.

I sent a bug report with feedback assistant.

Found a new bug. Safari toolbar customization does not stick. It gets reset to default everytime it's re-launched.

BUG: Photos.app with photo library using Faces keeps quitting.

No, 10.11 is coming later this year. Apple had a new .x.x build out every spring even when it is close to WWDC.

Plus, iOS 9 and 10.11 builds have been reported in the web server logs from Apple's networks in the past several months.

If you mean releasing 10.11 at WWDC, no that definitely won't happen. They will preview 10.11 at WWDC with the typical Fall release schedule for both 10.11/iOS 9.

Just tried downloading it and it said it would be done in 30 hours. I promptly said...

Their servers are really slow right now.

I really like that preview is now accessible with a 3 finger touch (not click) and the preview of web pages with the same gesture. It makes it alot easier and convenient.

Glad to see they add some new touch pad features for those not with the new MacBook Pro Retina and the new upcoming MacBook.

bending MacBook

Is there anything they can do in software to prevent the new MacBook from bending like the iPhone 6 does?

sure. just gimme your apple ID and cc number, i'll set that up for you.

I have to admit, I've been using Lookup's website preview a lot today. This may be my favorite feature in 10.10.3 so far. For an example, instead of clicking on the > link in the quotes here to go back to the pervious post, you can just lookup on it and see the previous post without losing your spot or creating a new tab.

I just wish Lookup for everything else isn't so buggy, had to file a radar to fix the crashes/blank UI.

One more thing, this also makes Force Touch more useful too by integrating Spotlight Suggestions, website previews, definition and so on. I can definitely see where Apple is going with this.

Quit the paint...

Well I couldn't care less about new forced programs as iPhoto and new fancy new emoji's.
I need more attention to speed, security and all the behind the scene stuff. I don't need all the child stuff the put into a operating system, I need a system that works and works well to serious work and not just fiddling around.
Improve the system so I can get more work out of my cpu, ram, SSD. Make them more efficient so when I run a virtual machine together with my Adobe programs and other developer software I get more power out of my hardware.

And all the child "paint" they put on top, let others do that og at least let my decide if I want that on my computer

Look Up is now Lock Up

Look Up bug affecting me. The pop up is blank and occasionally kills my keyboard and I have to restart. Same with three finger definition tap. Blank window.

Same for me. The three finger tab on a weblink is working fine, the look up of text end in locking the keyboard. A logoff / logon removes the issue. How to disable this new feature?
