What new wallpapers? Can you share them?
Since people are too lazy to post them here, I took a look at Twitter here's one of them:

Hopefully this update addresses the issues with Safari becoming unstable and unable to load new pages until a quit and relaunch happens.
I use 1Password all the time on all of my devices and I'm a big fan of it. Read carefully what I said. A FREE and a simple substitute. For most people, being able to password protect sensitive notes that they can share and sync across their devices is sufficient.Have you ever seen/used 1Password? Didn't think so. Or you'd never even think that Notes could be a substitute. Not even close. Reminds me of that TV show, "Kids Say the Darndest Things".
Well then whatever, somebody post these 'new' wallpapers. That's not new at all. Been there a long time.
I haven't noticed any changes in battery life of significance when going from Yosemite to El Capitan. It'd be worthwhile to do some testing and perhaps not reload everything right away. Perhaps one of the various third party applications you're using is using more CPU time than before, or could be forcing the discrete GPU to stay on, if you have one of those in your computer.
What are those apps in the menu bar?

What about a 2012 Mac mini or a MBP 2012, not smooth either.
What are those apps in the menu bar?
Just one question: does my network connection stay on now?
It keeps dropping to my synology....

Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming OS X 10.11.4 update to developers for testing purposes, two weeks after seeding the second OS X 10.11.4 beta and three weeks after releasing OS X 10.11.3. OS X 10.11.4 has been in testing since January 11.
The third OS X 10.11.4 beta can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or via the Software Update Mechanism in the Mac App Store.

OS X 10.11.4 offers a couple of new features, such as the ability to support password protected notes in the Notes app, but like the recent OS X 10.11.3 update, it appears to focus primarily on under-the-hood bug fixes and performance improvements with few noticeable outward-facing changes. Almost all of Apple's OS X updates to date have been smaller updates that improve performance rather than introduce new features.
We'll update this post with any features or significant changes that are discovered in the third beta of OS X 10.11.4.

- Fix the way attachments are handled in Mail (christ, a 600 billion dollar company should get this right the first time)

If you find the beta updates are too frequent, opting out of the beta program is a good idea.Uhg. Do we really need updates every 3 minutes. It gets tedious Apple.
As Apple comes out with a new OS every year, preinstalled on every new Mac, would you guess that all these machine do not work as we are already half way to the next OSX?
Nah it's El Cap......my NAS (Synology) works flawlessly with 10.10.5; very flaky under 10.11.whatever!Now you're being unrealistic. There are so many factors that would make your connection drop and you found it necessary to pick up on your macbook pro...
Think about your switch, think about a lousy cable, think about your synology nas...

I had to disable sleeping (just sleep monitor) to fix that. No issues since... aside from double the energy consumptionJust one question: does my network connection stay on now?

The biggest deficiency of iCloud Keychain that on iOS devices one only has access to (including manual lookup of) passwords that are used inside Safari. There is no way to access passwords for things WiFi networks.Except that you'd still be copy/pasting passwords instead of integrated shortcuts. The key to 1Password is the workflow advantages that it offers across platforms. iCloud Keychain has taken a decent stab at this, but still isn't there yet.
What is the difference between password-protected notes and secure notes? Both are pieces of text that are encrypted and that a viewed by going into the application that stores them (Notes or 1Password). Both have nothing to do with web passwords as those are filled in automatically and not looked up manually.Absolutely. 1Password is a very sophisticated and a very hard to replace program. I love it.
Yes, but there is no way to access that from iOS.OS X Keychain has secure notes already and is included free with the OS.
Password protected notes can be used to replace one element of what 1Password offers: Secure Notes. iCloud Keychain can be used to replace another element of 1Password: Passwords filled in by Safari.Have you ever seen/used 1Password? Didn't think so. Or you'd never even think that Notes could be a substitute. Not even close. Reminds me of that TV show, "Kids Say the Darndest Things".
Have you compared the current battery capacity in mAh against the design capacity? About This Mac > System Report > Power gives you current battery capacity in mAh, battery health status and cycle count. Instead of then looking up the design capacity and compare current vs design capacity, you can also download the app coconutBattery, which gives you the current relative (to design) battery capacity.I reloaded everything individually, not by transferring the CarbonCopy Cloner backup, so it should be like a new system. And even just formatted, it was showing max 5 hours at 100% with half of the display brightness and keyboard lights off.
I thought about the discrete GPU...but unfortunately I have only the Iris Pro mounted...As soon as I have some spare time, I'll bring it to the Apple Store for a repair...
Have you ever gone through an OS upgrade (major versions) on OS X? The look might change somewhat but for most purposes you will have trouble even telling that you are running a new OS version. Noticeable changes will be focussed on only a limited number of areas (for El Capitan Disk Utility for example).More performance improvements. Except for bringing Siri to the Mac, I don't know if I need many changes to the functions of the OS. But then again I'm stilled scarred from my experiences at work with Windows 8. It really turned me off on any changes to my OS. Being completely lost in front of a computer despite being a guy who took college level computer classes was a terrible experience which I do not want to repeat anytime soon.
If you insist on following beta builds, then yes, you will get new updates every 3 minutes.Uhg. Do we really need updates every 3 minutes. It gets tedious Apple.
