Is the regular iOS 13 version even out?
iOS 13 GM is available on the Developer site. Will release publicly on the 19th.

iPad OS does not have a GM version at this time. Public Beta 3 for the .1 release is now available. Official release is Sept 30th.

Any devs here? How’s this beta compared to ios13 beta 8? I don’t plan on updating to 13.1 if this release is a step backwards from a stability standpoint.

I don’t know about others but there are still bugs in iOS 13
In 13.’s latest beta in an iPhone 8+ I still have issues (reported) with the removal of hardware based 3D Touch. To be clear, rearranging apps is still difficult and takes several tries and app switching via 3D Touch on the left edge barely works. Yes, I know almost no one uses this but I do and it was a feature when I bought the phone, a phone Apple still sells. And this is what I dislike, as soon as the phone is “old” they start removing things with the justification of supporting newer phones. The iPhone 8 Plus came out just two years ago. I don’t want to dump it yet, simple.
Note that I am not an Android user and this is in not in any way intended to bash Apple comparing it with others.

What I’ve found with rearranging apps, tap and hold an app until you feel the Taptic Engine “tapping” you back, then you quickly move the app. Doing that forces the system to quickly react, allowing you to either delete the app or rearrange them as needed.

I’m not sure I understand. Headline says 13.1 PB is today? (Article doesn’t say this however and only mentions devs.)
iOS 13.1 public beta 3 is available as of today. If you have the public beta profile on your device and have an earlier version of iOS 13.1 or 13.0 you should get the update offered to you if you check for software updates.

Yes I know that, but this PB wasn’t showing up for me for some reason. Anyway, I fixed it simply by deleting the profile and reinstalling. It’s now downloading.

Thanks for the friendly tip, unfortunately I have tried that, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Maybe I should do a fresh install, Windows style

Ok, so downloading 13.1 PB3, however this morning, my AW4 sent me a "hint", something about the 13.0 GM. Is it possible to get Apple Watch os6 with the 13.0 GM ? Does anybody have an idea or info ? This would be really cool!

I've got some major battery issues and I can't tell if it's because of the Beta or if it's because I recently moved to a new area. My phone is on 2 or less bars most of the time and my experience in general has been that low signal == less battery life. (it's a 6s plus, reported 85% battery capacity).

I'm on 13.1 and I'd rather just get to a stable release of 13.0 so I can be sure about the battery. In the meantime, how is the battery life looking for everyone else on the beta?

edit: I've participated in every beta since 7 and haven't noticed such a change.

“...seeded the third betas of ... a day after providing the third beta...”
Wouldn’t that be the fourth?

Apple today seeded the third betas of upcoming iPadOS and iOS 13.1 updates to developers, one week after seeding the second public betas and a day after providing the third beta of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 to developers.
Sounds like first use of "developers" should be "public beta testers" instead.

Just a light tap & hold. Applying pressure does the 3D function. For switching apps double tap the home button or on the new phones swipe the Touch Bar. You can also swipe at a 45 degree angle to launch expose on the Face ID phones.

13.1 is what 13 GM is with additional features and stability improvements, definitely not step backwards.
13.1 is still in beta, so hard to say that it's necessarily more stable than what will be publicly released.

Just an FYI for anyone looking to jump in at this late date. I have not participated in any of the iOS 13 betas (but I have in 11 and 12 in the past). I installed the beta profile, and it took me right to 13.1 with no option to just do 13.0.

There is no 13 anymore for ipadOS. you are late to the party.

It doesn't seem like that was specifically related to iPadOS, just that the current iOS 13 developer or public beta profile will get the latest 13.1 beta rather than 13.0.
