If you are already on 13.1 beta then the "next software update" will be 13.1 not 13.0 as the 13.0 GM / release will still be an "older" build than the latest 13.1 beta and so not seen as an update.

The current situation is slightly unusual because we had the 13.1 beta released before the 13.0 GM / release whereas normally a .1 beta would only appear after .0 had been fully released.
I’ve not tried the 13.0 GM but mail in the latest 13.1 beta seems to have improved over the last 13.0 beta. Still not perfect but much much better so hopefully by 13.1 release they should have it fixed.Didn’t participate in any betas on my iPhone XS. Installed the 13.0 GM two days ago. It’s stable, feels ready for public in every area other than mail.app. Still bad. At this point I think we’re going to have issues until 14.0.
