They are fully free to monetize their IP, they just need to convince people to pay for it, or they can use something else that isn’t their IP.

If the developer agreement say they will have a revenue sharing model for any revenue made they’re in the clear.

They just can’t make the choice to just monetize some of them
Apple already convinced people to pay, through the purchase of a computing device. The DMA gives away for free, apples ip. But we been through this convo already.

This thread was mainly about the U.S. case 😉
They are monetizing the developer account and use of Xcode, they can always increase the cost as you have said before.

Or do like they did on ps5

I think the injunction is likely to be granted as the current situation allows app developers to make use of Apple’s App Store but circumvent paying Apple most of its fee.
Then I guess Apple should allow app developers to host their own apps. That way, Apple won’t have to incur those huge hosting fees

Epic charges a 12% percentage fee to buy games on Epic. Nintendo charges a 30% fee, just like Apple.

You are correct but if I don't like the price on Epic I can use the Steam store, the GOG store, the EA store, the Microsoft game store and many others. That's my point, Apple has a monopoly over people who use their devices.
