I'd rather stick with NEC or Eizo thanks. Won't be long now IMO. Still however be out of my price range. Must check tonight lottery numbers....

NEC is extremely aggressive on price drops. Within a year of release, they're typically in line with whatever Apple is asking, even though you get something significantly better. Actually I haven't looked at international pricing much, but that's how it is with US pricing.

For those in the UK, scan.co.uk has the Dell 32" 4K on preorder for £2400 including VAT. I don't think the Sharp is worth £1100 more.

Scan also sells the Asus 4K for £2880.

Maybe Apple will give us something "new" instead of looking at what is already in the pipeline?

Example:

And - please - I know it's not what everyone needs - just saying.

now if that turns out to be a 34" (as suggested by the model number and photo) I would be interested. The current ultra wides are 29" and makes them a bit less in the height department than my 27". A 34" would be awesome especially with a descent resolution like that one suggests.

£2300 on overclockers, not that I'd be in a hurry to buy from them. Personally I'd prefer to buy from Dell but a £500 premium for that privilege seems ridiculous.
