Reading tea leaves.... anyone notice how the "hello" sticker has disappeared from the invites computers?

I guess that means no new Macs :( ... no ARM based Macs... :(

The keynote has become very much a public-facing event, decreasingly oriented toward developers. (For them, there’s the Platforms State of the Union later in the day.) I’d be surprised if they didn’t have some kind of plan in place to have a smattering of folks there to applaud — they’d almost certainly rather not have an event at all than have an event with zero feedback. Optics.
I mean its possible to put iPad screens(each being that persons head) in each seat in a live show. They could also go further and have speakers at each seat that playback the persons audio which would cause the same noise as if people where actually there watching,reacting/applauding.
Id be curious if a tech company can pull that off. Its definitely possible with tech today.

I'm hoping they'll include a global developer sequence like the Mythic Quest iPhone episode ending.

I think they’ll do it exactly as they normally do, just without the live audience obviously.

From living rooms? Don’t be daft, these living room streams look like an ISIS video.
They could probably get away with having employees only, distanced appropriately, in the Steve Jobs Theater, or (less likely) as an audience outside the stage in the courtyard of Apple Park. (This idea has only come to me with Apple’s repeated declination to say that the event will be in the Steve Jobs Theater, but just “Apple Park.”) They’ll want some audience there.

MF Arm Macbook 💻 with Face ID people. I bet all my bingo money on it.
