I do not have a Mac yet, however I have Safari for Windows installed on my PC. Can anyone tell me if this should work as far as viewing the live stream? Thanks!

You guys are all so serious. Here in Belgium I could just ignore it by doing whatever it is I do. The only thing I would perhaps have to avoid is going to news sites or on G+, since I'm following a couple of news sites on there. Other than that I've never seen anything about any announcements in the past.

I do like to follow the action live though, watching interesting parts of the keynote when it releases. Often the first part is very dull and irritating - some senseless Android bashing and some 'off the charts'-numbers. I really like Apple and their products, but this part of the keynote is sooooooo frustrating. Of course during the keynote the 5000 times they say 'wonderful', 'amazing', ... also kind of spoils it.

This will be hard. I have to wait until Wednesday afternoon for enough time to digest the news and download GMs. Any suggestions on how to get through it spoiler-free?

Wear a tin-foil hat. It will block out all the signals coming your way, and everyone else will avoid you like the plague.

Unfortunately, I can't do that as I would get many "WTF?" looks from everyone at school.

Anything less... radical?

Aren't they live-streaming it this time (both via website and AppleTV)? I'd imagine I'll be doing that so as to see the announcements as they are happening. Was fortunate enough to do that with WWDC this year.

How will it be broadcast on my Appletv? Will there be a dedicated channel? I dont see a channel on there now so how will this work?

Awesome! Thanks MR! Will be really tough to refrain myself until I get home, but should be able to do it.

bookmarked!

Disable all communications. Simple as that. (TV, radio, internet, email, calls, texts, verbal, etc.)

Don't do that for long though, you will go insane. Humans are social beings. :)

Tomorrow will be a very rough work day. I need internet and such to keep me sane in-between working. Also the clowns I work with better not talk about it!

If people wanted spoiler free info, wouldn't they never come here anyway, and thus not read this thread? Never made sense to me.

The way I understood it is that this a safe haven of sorts for those people that want to be online but don't want the news spoiled for them because they are busy at work and going off and on with their computers. Others, however, like the spend the time coming here to interact with other spoiler-free folks so that they can watch the stream at their leisure and have reactions as if it was live.

People also usually bookmark this page before hand so that they immediately go to this thread and aren't spoiled by any of the news.

WINDOWS STREAMING IS POSSIBLE FOLKS!

All you need to do is download Quicktime. Macs just come with that naturally, and it will have support for mobile devices probably, as well.

Are you sure? how do get the stream to work with quick time on a windows machine?

If that big 'Hours, Minutes, Seconds' display doesn't say watch, then I don't know what does.

Right or the timer app is getting one hell update :)

Please notice the note at the bottom of the apple.com/live page:

"Live Streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on MAC OS X v10.6.8 or later Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation AppleTV with software 6.2 or later."

So people please don't get confused. It's still not possible to officially stream these to Windows PCs!

OK but not all people are able to take the time out of their day to watch it because...work. As for me, work can take a break. In fact we are definitely going to project the live stream in a conference room
