The keynote checker is NOT working, so we'll just have to hope someone let's us know.

Regardless even if we don't get the actual link at the exact time the keynote ends, I am sure a MR member will post it in this thread at some point later today. Kind of annoying, but we will be able to get through this...

It's already 8PM here and I have an early morning tomorrow. I am not amused with this whole fiasco. I just know that when I go to work tomorrow, people will be talking about it... :(

Thank god for the spoiler free thread. The live stream is so frustrating that I had to stop watching. Unfortunately I already got spoiled for a few minutes, so I know enough to wish I didn't see it.

I guess I'm here for the next two hours. I wonder if voidness' keynote checker is still working. http://insightview.com/keynotechecker/ It appears to be, but I'm not sure.

It's been working pretty well now without Chinese and almost non stop since my last post, just had to do a few reloads and it loaded quickly. If you guys kept up you can load it now, if not, definitely keep waiting to get the full stream later ;)

Co-sign everything everyone else is complaining about:

- Tried Apple TV, nope
- Tried MacBook 1, nope
- Tried MacBook 2, nope
- Tried iPad, nope

Oh well, me and spoiler-free go waaaaaaaay back so it's all good baby.

Hopefully in an hour or so the link will be up, that'd be nice.

I gave up. We are an hour in. Can't wait to watch it properly from the beginning when it's up. Agh so frustrating

Big questions is if the live stream is broken / dubbed with Chinese then will there be an upload of the keynote in a couple of hours as per normal or will that recording be tainted too.

I have waited days for the keynote and the Stream is so frustrating.
Especially hated the Chinese translator. *argh*

How did this happen? I've never had problems before...

Is it just because of the huge volumes of traffic?

I've got a feeling there's a broadcast company who won't be seeing another contract from Apple anytime soon.

My guess on why the stream kept cutting back to colour bars, is that they were in the back of the console desperately trying to re-patch the feed while they were live to air.

Phew, I see a lot of potential iPhone buyers who are really bummed. I've never experienced such a disastrous stream from Apple :(

Having the stream detonate like this wouldn't be such a point of embarrassment if Apple hadn't formally invited half the world to attend/watch this event as the second coming of Zeus.

Somebody's getting fired. Several somebodies...

The events are no longer than 2 hours and the video usually comes up within 30 minutes of it ending. I'm guessing it'll finish at 12 and then the video will be up by 12:30, but who knows.

Do you folks think this'll be as big as the iPhone/Mac/iPod etc. launches? If it's just a wearable like what everyone else has then I'd say not at all. Very curious to see it now that I think about how they're handling this...

Unless Apple decides to hold a behemoth 3-4 hour long keynote ala Google at IO 2014...that was something.

Id rather they take some time and mute out the chinese guy.

Since they started doing live streaming it's been about 30 minutes for the whole video to post.

I would say this is pretty accurate. Usually, if I recall correctly, you could actually do an on-demand replay of the announcement several minutes after its conclusion in low def. Could be wrong though.
