Probably apple car.
It’s Apple AR glasses. Tim Cook said we won't be waiting much longer.

Lancaster began leaking details to a media contact in late 2018, and he exchanged information for favors such as positive coverage of a startup that he invested in.

This part is disturbing to me. Does this happen a lot, trading essentially unlabeled sponsored content for scoops? Sounds worse than that even, is this not stock manipulation?

What journalist was this?

I love how APPL effectually say things like: “…used his senior position to attend meetings..” If the guy had no access, then why or how could he be there on the room, and how let him work there for 10 years? Sorry, APPL— I’m not buying that bit; no pun intended.

You’re not allowed to steal trade secrets from any company. And clearly not always under surveillance since he was able to do this for some time before being caught. Odd take to side with the guy who did this.
How was that siding with the guy? Lol. Odd take.

The Leakers are definitely out of the game now. Nowadays we just have to rely on Mark Gurman & Kuo. It seems like all they do is speculate. Back then we had actual leakers leaking accurate stuff from Apple.

Doubtful. Like drug dealers/criminals etc they'll most likely either wait til the heat cools a bit and/or find other sources.

It's the "Push-Down-Pop-Up" theory. Apple stamps out one source and two others spring up. It's a neverending battle

Wonder if Apple has Magnum PI tracking down leads on possible saboteur employees out there. Chasin’ down leakers in a Ferrari 308.

It’s California, it needs to be Lance White in a white Eldorado convertible or Jim Rockford in a brown Firebird Esprit.

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I enjoy being surprised when Apple releases something. The iPhone was completely unexpected, at least for me. Also the iPod. I miss the surprises. It’s disappointing to read it all in the news before it actually gets announced officially.
We currently live in Steve Jobs' nightmare, aka a world of bloggers (now YouTubers), all looking for anything for their content.
