And the music section doesn't even mention any of the iPods...
Shame, shame.
Shame, shame.
This.I've kind of taken a "whatever" attitude on the whole "Happy Holidays" issue.
I just say, "I hope you have a Happy Christmas" in my greetings, and if the other person lets me know that they're Jewish, I wish them a Happy Chanukah, or if Muslim, I ask them what is said at this time of year.
Having said that, I have yet to run into someone that is offended by "Happy Christmas". If they are, it's on them.
I really love these isometric illustrations by Apple. I think they look gorgeous!
I'm glad someone said something! I thought it was awesome when they did it the first time.I really love these isometric illustrations by Apple. I think they look gorgeous!
I'm pretty sure they are referring to the "free 2 day shipping" holiday promotion.Um... It's been free shipping every day for years.
I'm fine with them calling it "a holiday". Consumerism doesn't exactly scream "Jesus Christ", and I kinda doubt Apple is suddenly going to start hanging crosses everywhere...By holiday, they mean Christmas.
Welcome to Tim Cook's Apple, home of political correctness.
I hope the iPad Pro sells well.
I was thinking the same thing, next I've found out iPods are recommended in Games section. Meh.And the music section doesn't even mention any of the iPods...
Shame, shame.

My word, this is getting sad. Steve Jobs' Apple...

Every generation treats the commercialization of Christmas as though it were something that is just recently happening. I don't think there is anyone alive who remembers when Christmas was just a religious holiday.ummm are we missing the point that APPLE is trying to exploit this period in December to push sales and profits
Christmas is not about religion anymore. It's a money spinner, world wide.
Makes more sense now. But like you said, kind of hard to come out of there with under $50 worth of stuff, right? The rubber watch band you mentioned, a charger, or a case maybe.Normally apple (and many other online retailers) have free shipping over $50, $75, or $100 orders depending on the individual retailer. Apple has long been a free shipping on $50 and over orders-so unless your buying a rubber watch band most everything has a free shipping option.
