When you spend over a $1000 on a phone all of the above should be included for free for at least two years.
That 1000$ spent includes more than 5 years of software support, including great apps developed and provided for free for as long as you keep the phone. Adding Apple One on top is asking for too much for that money. That said, I switched to Apple One last month - on 19€ for my family of six. Only bummer is the iCloud storage.

Not a fan of Apple One offerings, I get it why the do what they do. I’m just here for their iCloud+ and at max for Apple Music. Arcade, not a gamer in any sense. Fitness, lol, enough said 😂. Apple TV+, I have enough streaming services so not interested.

The whole point of Apple One is to incentivize people to subscribe to discounted and bundled services that they would never have subscribed otherwise. Offering more customization makes sense from a customer perspective, but not a business one. Apple don’t want to give you discount on services you’re willing to pay the full price anyway.

I’d like more customization, but I doubt we will get more than a few more bundles
Verizon bundles Apple Music and arcade so the bundle makes no sense for me, I wish we can minus stuff from a bundle we don’t need

That’s exactly what apple will never do, they want you to subscribe to services you don’t need or want. Why would they give you a discount on services that you are willing to pay for anyway? Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to take a bundle without Apple Arcade, but I can see that the discount on the bundle is aimed to make you subscribe on services you wouldn’t pay for separately

Whilst I don’t really use News+, and I do think iCloud Storage is abhorrenty overpriced; I’m on the Premier Plan for £29.95.
This is a pretty good commercial too!

A1 has been around for a while, but the commercial is the first time they advertised it with a video right?

.

For me, I'm one of those "weirdos" where the only thing I'd get value out of in A1 is AA. The rundown...
--iCloud+ - I use my iPad as a (glorified) gaming device, that I may use to go online from time to time, or some light computing. As such, I don't need the storage (and if I did, I would've gotten the 256 GB model instead). As my only Apple device, I don't have a need to share files across other Apple devices

--Music - Still not on board with these. If I want music, I'll just use YouTube and put up with ads (I don't use it that much anyways). If I'm in the car, I also have Sirius XM (satellite radio is nice for those cases where I'm in areas with no signal).

--ATV+ - I enjoyed my free trial, but will only do 1 or 2 major SS (streaming services) at a time. Time is truly the bottleneck. I'll resub monthly when key new TV series get new seasons (e.g. Foundation, See, Central Park), and to catch up on the shows and movies I didn't have time for before.

--AA - I enjoyed my free trial of this as well. I let the sub expire b/c I was going on travel, but it's still that way since I'm enjoying that free time back. I am open to resubbing. If I do, it'll likely be $45 a year through Costco. I've spent $45 in worse ways on the mobile app stores.

Fitness+ - This requires an A-Watch and by extension, an iPhone of which I have neither.

News+ - This isn't too shabby, but I view elsewhere for news. Time is another factor. For those interested in this, Costco does have this for $90 per year (as opposed to $10 a month)

Nice ad!

The 3D flipping Apple logos are neat, and a version of the 🌈 variant is back briefly.

The bubbling up iCloud logo looks great, too.

And there’s a distinct hint of the 2015 ‘Watch is Coming’ drumbeat rhythm a couple of times here 😎

Yes, it will be also amazing if they make it available to all the countries they have subscriptions. Everything is because of fitness, and I don't know why they don't roll it to more countries...

I cant say I get all in one package when i dont get fitness+ in norway. Its so useless that apple cant manage to roll it out to more countries. i am so tired of everything being US only apart for maybe a few countries. Do they think we dont understand english? Lazy company.

If you take everyone who has gotten a new iphone in the last two years, that’s gotta be 70% of iphone users, right?

So your proposal is to give $720 of free services to 70% of iPhone users?

I’m glad you’re not running Apple.

meh, until it's got better features it's a no from me.

- Apple Arcade is total junk, a random spattering of pretty poor games.
- Apple News is pretty pointless in this day and age
- Fitness+ is great if you're on crack and want to constantly shout and scream 'woo', 'woah', 'yeah!'
- AppleTV+ still lacks a decent amount of content, once you've watched their rather small catalogue theres no point in keeping it.
- Apple Music will continue to be an absolute no until they release a desktop app that doesnt run like *******.
- The amount of storage they provide is pathetically small.

I happily pay for Apple one! tremendous value.

All my family photos and data saved to the Cloud, full quality, privately. Spatial audio and Lossless are well worth it.
And I get fitness + and Apple Arcade!

And of course private relay and hide my e-mail which I use daily.
Just a heads up, some of those things you mentioned are not Apple One features. Private relay / Hide my email are free to anyone with an Apple account.

News+ is even more limited — only 4 countries currently have it. Fitness+ is available in in 21 countries. (All of which means that, although those 21 countries have an Apple One Premier plan, all but 4 will not have News+ — which is holding me back from subscribing here in Ireland)

What, and eat into their high services margins? Apple could do this but it would have higher prices for the phone built in.

I am just about to cancel apple one family. I rather see YouTube premium family as good value for my case and tag on to it the necessary apple storage plan.

Plus I get unlimited data storage of HomeKit Secure Video. My wife and I always use News+ and Music daily. There’s not a single part of Apple One+ I don’t use at least several times a week.

That just reminded me; (AppleTV+) Friday Night Baseball is on and it’s 9am in Eastern Australia. Perfect start to a Saturday morning.

On the surface, Apple One seems like a pretty good deal. But I wish it was more customizable. For example, I'm already paying for 2 tb of iCloud storage. If I could add on Apple Music to that for an extra $5 a month, it would be worth it to me. I just don't have an interest in their other offerings.
That goes against the whole point of a streaming bundle, which is to use a more popular offering to prop up a less popular one.

Desperation. Apple One is failing so they need to make hail mary ads to pimp the service. El oh el

200GB iCloud for family plan is a joke.

Our family of four currently uses over 600GB and the youngest one uses his phone mostly for YouTube and games so his part of the total is currently less than 10GB.

And our country does not have News nor Fitness, so no point of getting Apple One.
