Now the average buyer's IQ has apparently fallen below zero, we can expect another slew of refurb designs, retrogrades, mehpgrades, everything that helps to fill the streets out of Tim's pipeline.

Have I mastered the art of trolling? Apparently yes, bc that post gave you "cancer".

I have lost interest in Apple and their apparent new bussines model targeting schoolgirls. I saw this post in Twitter and went

I am a fallen apple fanboy. People... SALUTE

However bad things become - I detest using the C-word for anything Apple.
As it's simply not important enough.

im really starting to feel there needs to be a split in macrumors as it pertains to this stuff. I come here for tech news and updates as they relate to the iOS/MacOS ecosystem. This has absolutely no relevance to that. I can understand how it would be of interest to other people, but I question the relevancy on a tech blog. Maybe its time to split some of this stuff off into something like, maclifestyles.com, for example.

Well, I have only seen one, and it was with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I enjoyed it, mainly because I like the band. It was great seeing Anthony wrestle the fat guy in somebody's front yard. Definitely wouldn't pay to watch them, though.
It actually is pretty fun to watch, if you know the people in it. I don't get the hate. I've seen Usher in a lot of things, for example, and to see him having a blast in his carpool video was pretty awesome.

Remember when Apple would brag about their focus?

What makes it worse is this is a stupid idea which shows lack of understanding of nor content distribution works. Exclusives means it will be invisible to almost everyone.. This is no Game of a Thrones.

Everyone at Apple knows it sucks too. That's the whole point. It's like a pileup on the freeway with everyone slowing down to see if there's any bodies on the road- then to recoil in horror once they see it. It's an old advertising trick to be soooo annoying and cringy to watch that you can't get it out of your head. It creates a lot of buzz for Apple Music and that's all that matters. Shock value.

Imagine if Apple spent 25% of what they did on this on a redesign for the Mac mini. It's just sad the direction Apple is going.

We make fun of Ed Clueless and Phil the Shill trying to act cool on stage at keynotes, but they actually think this is pop culture.

Apple should have dominated streaming of music and video a decade ago! Apple should BE Netflix. They should BE spotify. But delayed resonse, and the awful decision to buy Beats, has resulted in a once leadership postion adrift in a sea of mediocrity.

Apple should be the ones making Stranger Things, Organs is the New Black, Game of thrones etc. But instead we get lowest common denominator, cheap as ass youtube neurotoxin. What did it cost them to make $250 fo a go-pro, and $30 for petrol?

The hate is most likely coming from the same people who whined about Frank Ocean and not knowing who he is.

Wow! Not bad!

Remember when apple was classy?

They don't need this crap to sell products, great products sell themselves.

Everything apple is doing these days, trying to hard to be cool, smacks of Beats. Beats had **** products though, so they needed all this.

And yes, Beats eventually improved thier hardware, though for so long it was awful, the current offerings are good.

I know it's become sort of popular to bash this show on here, but you should really give it a chance. It actually has a lot of depth, and the character arcs are really rewarding. Like, James Corden starts out as your average not-singing-karaoke person but eventually becomes a definitely-singing-karaoke person. Then, once the song ends, th—actually, I won't spoil it for you.

Also, the cinematography is perfect; you really feel like they're all in a car!

You lost me at depth... unless you meant it should be buried.

The sad thing is that an awful lot of people are obsessed with the lives of celebrities, and have no clue about important things. I think if they made a show called Toilet Karaoke which consisted of celebrities singing while they are taking a dump, people would watch it.

This looks like innocuous fun. If the artists involved in a particular episode interest me, I'll watch. If not, I'll give it a pass. I liked the Tony Awards promo. I hope they do a variety of artists, and not just new artists promoting their stuff.

People actually watch this?

This looks good, better than their other show.

I gave Planet of the Apps a try recently. It's already out of date as the first app they show off features AR tech: The developer was asked "Is anyone else doing this?" and the reply was "no one else has the tech".

James Corden. He has more talent in his little finger than ... the rest of his whole body. In the UK he just does car insurance adverts. And that's the way it should stay .....

Are you kidding? These Carpool Karaoke teasers are just as big a deal as the Apple Keynotes. New iPhone, FaceID, blah blah blah.... DON'T CARE, GIVE US MORE JAMES CORDEN!
