Unless I'm doing something wrong (latest iOS9 version) or maybe it's b/c I only have the 6 and not 6s, this iPhone is NOT charging/plugged into power.

I can not get Hey Siri to work unless it is plugged in.

So it looks like a screwup by Apple's marketing folks on this one.

Misleading it is?
Really? That's so surprising. It's almost like Always on Siri was a feature of the iPhone 6s and not the 6.

Only the 6S and 6S+ have this feature.

"Hey Siri, read my unread emails."
"Okay, you have 3 unread emails. First email...blah blah blah."
"Hey Siri, delete that email."
"I don't know what you mean."
"Hey Siri, read next one."
"I don't know what you mean."
"Hey Siri, next email."
"Okay, here is the first email."
"Hey Siri, NO read me the next email."
"I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean."
"Arggghhhhhh!!!!!!"

...Context avoidance mode detected...

Is this a real experience that you've had?

"Hey Siri" works on battery power on the 6s, not the 6. You need to have your 6 plugged in for it to be listening. This is called evolution of technology.

We certainly are privelidged to have apple selflessly share their advertisements with us.

This is what I thought too, weird wording MacRumors is using there. Let Apple's beneficence rain upon us through the holy YouTube.

Dear Macrumors, Apple "posts" new ads, they don't "share" them. Since Apple creates the ads, they post them.
Thank you. It's not like Apple is granting us some special privilege by letting us watch these ads. Macrumors is "sharing" by saving me the trouble of looking up the links.

If only Siri worked this well in practice. She understands me, but she doesn't understand context well enough to navigate messages and emails properly. I often find her not doing what I want, getting frustrated and just doing it myself by hand.

Ditto!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You probably have low power mode enabled. Check your battery settings.

I like Bill Hader and the commercial is alright.... but I don't care for Apple using celebrity endorsements. I feel it cheapens the brand. I'm supposed to want this product/service/etc... because some random comedian is on a commercial?

At least they are showing off a semi useful feature (though reading emails is way easier and quicker than having them dictated)
