So lower power mode (aw) = casio watch 😂

Not complaining, saying that is useful during international travels
Like most uninformed people I jumped the gun and criticised the feature as useless, however just been to the Gym, used low power mode, listened to music and used the work out, app, at the end of an 80 min work out, the watch used only 10% of the battery, it's usually at least 25%, the only compromise was the lack of cellular (which I can live with) but I got my iMessages. Brilliant 😊

I just tried this on my AW Series 4. The screenshot on this article shows 1 percentage for the battery, which makes sense. Mine shows 2. One at 98% (the actual current charge of my watch) and the other at 60% (which I have no idea what that means). I know it's not battery health, as if I go into Battery in Settings my AW4's battery health is 87%. Anyone else know?

Has anyone noticed if low power mode affects the handwashing feature? I noticed it didn't activate when I was washing my hands for like 10 seconds.

Welp, wouldn’t want to do without background heart rate recording so I guess I won’t be using this after all.
Same here. It's the main reason why I wear a smart watch over a "regular" watch.

I can't believe it's taken them this long to bring out a low power mode when almost every single one of their competitors has had the feature since their inception.
Not worth the trade-offs.
Yep, completely agree.
Apple doesn't want its customer to think.
It's super frustrating you can't choose what you want to turn on and off.

i’m guessing this is mainly intended to be used when the battery is in the 15%-10% range, i’ll keep using normal power mode 90% of the time
